January 4, 20179 yr I need to re input a manouvre to the hatswitch every time which is funny as as you can see below it do remember my configuration. You are clicking File->Update, right? (I'm not at my PC but it's called something like that.) It doesn't automatically save like the old one...you have to do it yourself. January 4, 20179 yr Coupon file will not unzip. Any ideas? Thanks. Bill I unzipped the 'Zip' file with 7-Zip and then the .cpn file itself is used in the installation, it will direct you to browse for the location.
January 4, 20179 yr I uninstalled EzDok v2 since it is not compatible with FlyInside (VR). However, before doing so I used the ezdok config tool to unregister the components. Then I uninstalled it. Now I see that it has messed with my camera.cfg file, and it didn't even make a backup file before doing any changes to it. Now, I'm left with a camera.cfg file that is incompatible with FlyInside. Can someone please send me a copy of their working camera.cfg file? Andreas Stangenes http://www.youtube.com/user/krsans78 Add me on gamertag: Bullhorns78
January 4, 20179 yr Moe, I see. No suggestions on that. I have noticed some saving issues; I set up another aircraft's views last night and this morning the setting for that aircraft were gone. Growing pains or something. January 4, 20179 yr Some questions: what does v2 better than v1? Any drawbacks? Does v2 work with TrackIR ? Regards, Chris -- PC: Intel 13900K, Gigabyte Geforce RTX 4090, 64GB Fury Beast DDR5 RAM; Display: Varjo Aero VR

January 4, 20179 yr Onebob, Thanks for your reply. I moved the file to another computer. It unzipped with no problem. Go figure. Bill
January 4, 20179 yr I have version 1 which works fine, with all the aircraft I fly. What am I going to gain with V2, especially factoring in that all my settings that I have perfectly adjusted won't work anymore?
January 4, 20179 yr Bobsk8, all I can tell you if you like v1, I can't see any reason you wouldn't be glad about version 2. The hold horizon effect is pretty nice to have. The adjustments to effects seem way easier to me, at least it is easier to figure out how to mess with them. There are popup directions as to what does what when mouse is held on the headings. I liked version 1 but most things were greek to me. This one I understand a whole lot more. As to others reporting problems, I don't seem to have their problems, like settings not being held, etc. Any time you make a change you have to update the file which is a measly two mouse clicks. I'm very happy with the new version. I don't see how you can go wrong with the 12.99 USD charge for a complete reworked version to previous customers. It does work with TIR Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz (8 cores) Hyper on, Evga RTX 3060 12 Gig, 32 GB ram, Windows 11, P3D v6, and MSFS 2020 and a couple of SSD's

January 5, 20179 yr i think its extremely amusing when everyone is against "Pay for beta" software, yet some people on this post and on these boards are loterally so happy to support it....and people wonder why developers do things this way. Hhhmmm maybe because there is an actual ligitimate market for it. Most releases are beta. In fact to me EZd has always been a beta program. Crappy support. I had to go on Youtube when I needed to upgrade to P3D the various versions. Skulking around the F1 forums seeing if there is the latest update. Then start sequence. Then the stupid pressing the key to move and set the camera. What a mess. Chase Plane even in beta is intuitive and integrates seamlessly with P3D. The function to autostart with P3D also has an automatic update for the software. Choosing cameras is fantastic. After you set your keys, move in cab or out, hit the plus sign on the interface, name the camera and quickly off to the next camera position. EzD is not even close. I'll never go back. January 5, 20179 yr Is it possible to keep EZDOK v1 as a separate install that isn't messed up by a V2 install just in case v2 doesn't work out? There enough folks posting with v2 issues to make me cautious. Bruceb Bruce Bartlett Frodo: "I wish none of this had happened." Gandalf: "So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us."
