January 24, 20179 yr Waiting for something like FS2Crew for this though.... Multi Crew Experience is already supporting it  I'm discovering the Airbus world as well, and have so much to learn, very exciting by the way To me the TRACK/FPA mode itself is simply a brilliant idea. January 24, 20179 yr The Airbus is even more automated than the newer type Boeings. So the workload can be easily managed alone. Actually, I don't even use FS2Crew on the Boeing aircraft anymore, because it just get's too boring having a co-pilot which does most of the work. And other than in real life, in the sim you are allowed to operate these aircrafts on your own... +1 David Murden. January 24, 20179 yr Glad there seems to be a lot of love for it. The thing that has really captured me is the ground handling. Even down to the different engine models and break away thrust between them. Once getting the rudder-disconnect figured out, and tuning the (awesome) EZDOK v2 fuselage bumping, I can honestly say I that I have never experienced anything so immersive! Dropping back into the cabin and hearing the pumps and other mechanicals doing their thing just tops it. I WISH I could take a week off work. Looking forward to my first proper by-the-book flight. Think I will take the Monarch bus down to Greece..... Thank you so much for this labour of love FSL. I know you are a commercial enterprise and thanks are not really needed, but I do want to express my sincere respect for this one! Great job! Could I be cheeky and ask if your willing to share your Ezdok v2 profile for this plane? I haven't had chance to set up all the effects yet and it would be good to see how yours are set up.
January 24, 20179 yr Yes, it's a best plane i've ever flown in any flightsim. FSL modeling approach, attention to detail and system accuracy(systems behind systems)are just awesome. I use to test things while in cruise, when i don't have too much things to do. Just opening the FCOM at random page, reading about some systems, and then testing them with FSL A320. For example yesterday i've read about FCU - with autopilot engaged(in LNAV mode), if you just move heading knob(change heading without pushing or pulling the knob) - heading(the line showing HDG you have selected)will appear in ND display. Then, if you don't touch the knob, it should disappear after 15 seconds according to FCOM. So i did that, started timer, and the line disappeared after exactly 15 seconds. How cool is that? It's just an example, i tested many things and everything is accurate so far Zeljko Budovic
January 24, 20179 yr Just opening the FCOM at random page Guess fsx is different to p3d than since i havnt got the fcom at all all i got is the basic flight, flight checklist, introduction, normal procedures you unless your referring these as fcom ? No, just used google to find a real FCOM, there are many versions available on internet. That was forum advice, since FSL cannot provide it Zeljko Budovic

January 24, 20179 yr Tested the P3D bus today. So far so good (VAS and FPS are okay). One issue though: The brakes appear to be oversensitive even when calibrating the brakes with FSUIPC. A little touch and the aircraft completely stops taxi. Regards, Chris -- PC: Intel 13900K, Gigabyte Geforce RTX 4090, 64GB Fury Beast DDR5 RAM; Display: Varjo Aero VR
January 24, 20179 yr Did you read the intro manual there is a section in there on controllers. Can you not turn down the sensitivity in FSUIP? Brakes are fine for me, more than fine really smooth and easy to judge. David Murden. January 24, 20179 yr I am looking forward to payday  to upgrade my un-used FSX version . So far i am also a 100% Boeing Tube simmer but this one is going to change that. I have been looking into Blackbox´s videos on youtube to sneak peek at the FBW laws etc. Hopefully we will get a Airline2Sim video series . (We should support them with 777 i guess - and will do that) Thanks Michael Moe Micheal - for sure there's an Airline2Sim Program coming for the A320. It's a hugely complex aircraft (more so than the 777 in many ways) so if anything it'll be a longer and more in depth Program as for one the FBW system on the 777 is not terribly invasive. For the most part it just lets you get on with things and leaves you alone but the Airbus FBW system is a different story. I can't give timescales yet on release as it's down to pilot availability etc but we're working on it as we speak. | Ben Weston www.airline2sim.com
January 24, 20179 yr Folks, I have two questions. 1. Does current PFPX suport export into the Bus's FMC 2. Any PFPX performance profiles exist? Thanks Yes there are Profiles and how to set them up http://forums.flightsimlabs.com/index.php?/topic/7242-pfpx-profiles/ You have to have the Bus powered up withing the sim to export to the the bus, not sure this is 100% right but it can read a PDF!!! but i dont know how to just save a file to then inport. I wish I did. The odd thing? is every flight I have dont with only a PFPX flight plan exported into P2D, After i enter e.g. EGLL/EHAM my flight plan comes up and I just press insert! David Murden. January 24, 20179 yr Yes it's FSL not AS   Its nothing like the AS version. Even the two Engine types make them feel like your getting two different aircraft. I did 4-5 flights in the BA with IAE engines then did a flight with ezy jet with CFM and thought OMG! IAE = feel more faster, noise 'er CFM= much more calmer and less in your face. 320 IAE feels, sounds like a sports car. CFM feels, sounds like your in a limo. I like the IAE  David Murden.
