June 4, 20178 yr I say it will never come. And I mean really never! You remember Next Level Sim etc? All dead projects. Just download Project Airbus A380 and get a decent A340 Panel (SMS Overland or CLS Airbus for example). I fly with that for years already...

Good to know there is somebody doing it but it will be a long way. June 4, 20178 yr I wouldn't put the "confirmed" word on that news title, or even make an announcement if I was FS Elite . What Matt does with projectFLY is extremely good and I admire him for that, but from that to an A380 study sim, that's more than a huge step. I hope he has a team that knows what that announcement requires and the skills and experience to do that. I understand the excitement when you can plan something like that, but personally I'd wouldn't announce something that big before it had already started taking place. As Hoang said, it took FSL years, and only an A380 of this accuracy can be considered study sim. Really hope it succeeds. If so, it will be years until this gets to the store. June 4, 20178 yr Well one thing for sure is true: It needs to be done. That and the Dreamliner are soreley lacking in high quality renditions for flightsimulators. No matter what platform.
June 4, 20178 yr Wow. That's quite a long shot. As much as I respect Matt as a very good flightsim streamer, I think he is seriously loosing focus here. [email protected] ∣ Asus ROG Strix B650E-E ∣ 64Gb@6000MT ∣ NVidia 5090 FE
June 5, 20178 yr We are just only getting started with the logic with the A320 aircraft (Jeehell FMGS, Prosim, etc) and that has been with us for over 30 years. Good luck with the A380! Soarbywire - Avionics Engineering
June 5, 20178 yr As much as I'd love to see something of this level for the A380 it may be a little early to announce I would think. Definitely looking at years of development for that. June 5, 20178 yr Well, good luck to them. As everyone is well aware, that is a massive undertaking and one suspects it could have many pitfalls and barriers, but, in the words of Lao Tzu: 'a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step'. Then you should know that you have to wait from now even a "longer" time ;) I miss nothing right now when it comes to Jetliners. There are very good simulated free A320, A330, A350 and of course A380 out there. 737, 777 and 787 are as well very nice. When it comes to panels, well for A330, A350 im using a A330 panel from CLS. For A380 a A340 Panel from CLS. For 777 and 787 I use a very nice free 777 panel. The only thing what Im missing are private jets like Gulfstream G550 G650 and stuff, or Bombardier Global 7000, 8000. But it looks like they will never come :(
June 6, 20178 yr He should stick to acting like a child wearing that judges wig for the lulz In order get the children to subscribe to his channel, and pay for his hobby. good luck to him. I guarantee you he Could use the same fan base to create a pay to beta product like bbs. He'd be laughing all the way to the bank to buy another bmw
June 6, 20178 yr Somehow we have forgotten to encourage people no matter how uphill the task is. May be he will/will not succeed. Atleast we could cheer for him Thanks,Pankaj Dekate
June 6, 20178 yr Good luck. It sounds like a project that would be daunting for the largest, most experienced developer. If a small-scale team can pull it off to study-level quality, they'll deserve all the accolades (and £££) they can get. James David Walley Ryzen 7 7700X, 32 GB, RTX 3080
