This question would have been an interesting one back in the mid 1990s. The reason is because I personally felt that Microsoft introduced terrain textures WAY too early. The terrain textures in FS5 were an awful shimmering mess at low altitudes, and I remember thinking that I would have preferred to see Microsoft continue with coloured vector graphics, but with a proper terrain mesh, and lots more 3D objects and ground detail (buildings/trees/fences etc).

Will you be able to watch this discussion later if you can't catch the live stream?

That's what I thought. Apparently, it is a live chat with LM instead of a live video stream.
