I see no difference whatsoever in the lightning/water. Aside from performance optimizations, these improments are also not mentioned at all in the release notes. Seems like a placebo effect to me. Maybe you don't have dynamic reflections enabled so you would not see any difference?. It is hard to judge without knowing what the other users settings are.. perhaps you should ask them what their settings are and try? S. I always uninstall everything and start again from scratch. I know the update is supposed to be perfectly fine, but still I'm always left wondering. A bit like "did I leave the gas on". Sorry, if all you've got from that is that I'm a bit odd.

June 26, 20187 yr I have a mid-low end system and I don't really notice any performance difference with dynamic lighting in V4.3.

HT off and overclocked only physical core 0 to 5.9Ghz, since P3D (and also XP11) is mainly using core 0 for calculations. The result is pretty good.

I think we are back to square one to be honest, LM clearly stated in the 4.3 change log that they changed the rendering of the engine so now we must start testing all over again what is the best setting to get the best desired results with 4.3 @SteveW is very good at this, so I will wait until he perform some tests and let the community know what is best for 4.3.
