What's the White and Yellow line on the windshield on the Rain video?

At first I thought maybe the plane is flying through a rainbow..not sure...

Good to see 3D light coverage close-up and at distance. Houses, street lights, cars, objects have lights or are reflecting lights. Breaking through the clouds/fog at night on approach will never be the same again... The night immersion factor has been improved tremendously.

Wow, I mean seriously, given what I see in the videos and how they are in tune with the community, how could I be disappointed? This is amazing.

The 3rd video shows some nice real time lighting. One of the things that sets Prepar3d apart from FSX.

I think those are reflections actually, and I'm really impressed how deep they are pushing on that regard.

Looks good. I like the rain effect on the canopy, but if that's a standard feature then I hope it's realistic and variable according to airspeed.

Great-looking night lighting on that one clip from the rear of the plane panning down, but I can't tell how much of that is individual lights or baked-in. There is one moving vehicle on the street, and it looks weird because it has two lights on the side, not headlights. Not making any big judgments based on an alpha version, but it looks like a good start for night lighting.

The quality of these early build vids and photo's is creating a shockwave for me...😛

Looks to me like pure G-forces pushing the water away....

That second video in the cockpit.

For word not allowed’s sake.

Sorry mods.

Can someone help me understand what a "Tech Alpha" actually is?

Incredible stuff so far, very impressive. I did notice the cars appear to be driving backwards though 😉

and then I saw the night one (which has cars moving in it, with headlights).

I don’t really know what to say.

Alpha comes before Beta. It's basically an early version of the product.

Well, it's not a car with headlights illuminating the road ahead like XP, unless we're talking about different videos. But it's a great start.
