August 30, 20196 yr Thank you Microsoft. I have not been this excited for a while. Slowly but very surely you are disbanding all the naysayers. Really Impressive. Specs: 11900K (5ghz), 64GB ram 3600mhz, RTX 3080 ti
August 30, 20196 yr Have any previous versions of flight simulator, or any of the other current simulators had force feedback? I play quite a lot of racing games (mainly iracing, assetto corsa and the f1 games these days) and the ffb is an essential part of the experience/ immersion for me. I’ve never had a yoke/ joystick with ffb, I don’t even know if they exist. Do they? Feeling the forces of flight through my hands/ feet would make me buy some though.

Yes the FS franchise has had FF for a long time and MS had even an iconic joystick for it, the Sidewinder. I f not mistaken, P3D has it too but I don't know of any good joystick on the market. August 30, 20196 yr Commercial Member Back when FSX was done computers sort of clocked along. They sing now, don't they. How that multi core works, and the way ahead was just emerging. So the trends would have to follow a path played out by that activity. Coming up next, are we getting the state of the art, or are we to get ground breaking new techniques scribed out for the coming decade? Controls have emerged with complexities way beyond force feedback. Graphics capabilities, and sounds all have recent tech hardly touched. I hope to see a lot of the new. Underlying that, as the devs have suggested, are techniques of building programs they are familiar with. Calling APIs they are familiar with. Creating content they are familiar with. Fingers crossed the new sim will actually make maximum use of all the cores in our PCs rather than the sim being hobbled by the speed of a single processor. Give people power to really test their personality.

Then no point in going into an argument isn't? Basically you are saying I would not believe you not matter what.. That is ok, we don't need you to believe anyway.. Regards Simbol Not really, if you show me something compelling, at least it would open me up to the possibility of what you're saying but I probably won't be able to come to a conclusion either way.
