Which will support Comet Lake that is yet another Skylake refresh, so outside of the confirmed Hyper-Threading for the entire line-up, we can expect slightly higher clocks and much higher power consumption. Sadly the real next-generation hardware (Ampere, Zen 3, RDNA 2.0) aren't coming until late 2020/early 2021.

December 23, 20196 yr When mentioning benchmarks, I personally didn't expect a benchmark tool to compare different simulation softwares (X-Plane, FSx, P3D, FS2020...) with multiple hardware setups (GPU, CPU, graphics settings, scree resolution...) and multiple addons but only for FS2020 itself. The benchmark, I was thinking off, could create several scenarios (urban flight, over sea, high density autogen area, overload of AI, plenty of cloud layer, cockpit... whatever is impactful for FS2020) and collect environment al information including hardware (CPU, GPU... including drivers version) but also FS2020 configuration (graphics settings and cursor settings position) and FS2020 addons (assuming they'll be) loaded. Finally something like 3Dmark but integrated in the sim. Vincent B. Check my free MSFS sceneries : https://flightsim.to/profile/vbazillio/trending and my hardware configuration.

December 23, 20196 yr Commercial Member Performance of FSX/P3D must be measured in fps and fill-in rate, and so will MFS be similar. Loading times would also be factored in. Steve Waite: Engineer at codelegend.com
December 28, 20196 yr I most certainly will not buy a new PC for FS2020.. I'm not all that interested in a Farming Sim. I'll wait until we know more about MSFS. Robin "Onward & Upward" ... To the Stars, & Beyond...

December 30, 20196 yr I saw somewhere on youtube that they were running an i9 processor..?? So I guess I'd wait for an i10 or i12 LOL
December 31, 20196 yr I’m really hoping that the next gen XBOX will run MSFS well. I’d really like to have that as a legitimate option for this usage.
