how do you see the msfs in a year?

How do you see and use the msfs in a year?

I hope by then I have a good A320 (aerosoft) and fly on vatsim as now.

I don't think much will change except the visual. I just hope that I will have to use fewer addons (flight planner, ...) than today. That many good addons are already standard.

Probably as much as I'm using it right now, which is I'm not. And I'm still waiting to see how much the monthly cost will be to d/l Microsoft's world.

I see it maybe getting released. Then we'll see if all the hype is worth anything, from what i've seen in some streams right now, i'm not _THAT_ impressed anymore although it does have a lot going for it.

Time will tell.

Discovering the vast world with GA. I usually fly airlines in current sims, but now (in a year) I will enjoy flying around Lake Tahoe on sunset...

Oh boy. Just like in old times with FSX, but now with default quality.

I expect to use MSFS for GA only at the start and still fly the FSL Airbus in P3D V4.

It's been confirmed already that a subscription won't be needed, even to access the online data streaming. This point has been discussed many times on this forum.

Discovering the vast world

I hope that the new sim will, at last, allow  some  adventures in places that I've never flown before because the default landscape is horrible. Real adventures, not the canned type. An example :

I am reading now an interesting book, Ciels Impériaux Africains (African Imperial Skies - in French) which narrates the epic of the French and Belgian pilots in Africa from 1911 to 1940.

https://en.calameo.com/read/005116633f738fffb86e3

Recreating their flights now doesn't make much sense. I hope that in one year to be able to do some flights in something which look like Africa, a continent that I have never visited. The vintage aircraft won't be here but a XCub or the Icon should be good enough substitutes.

Too many unknowns for me to even think about the new MFS at the moment.

No. I think it was in the interview you recently posted where they confirmed there will be no subscription, neither to buy the game nor to download data.

If they keep looking for the user's feedback and implementing the most asked features, I bet we will have an almost perfect simulator in a year.

Same question I had. A strange comment was made there.

Given the Alpha has 2 watermarks with your gamertag one of which is floating around the screen I find it hard to believe someone would be stupid enough to live stream their gameplay...
