April 24, 20206 yr Maybe msfs, but that seems quite a ways off, so probably not a correct guess (have you seen the requirements for that thing? I'm pretty much not worried about them since seeing requirements and thats with the minimums, "the suggested" are a land far, far away for me. Myself and a few other developers recommended LM not release V5, there are many issues/bugs ... The question that comes to mind is why wasn't this info regarding the 'many issues/bugs' posted here before V5 went on sale?

Probably because they were under NDA about it? April 24, 20206 yr LOL! LM has a new CEO but if he is that involved in the day to day operations, he might have the shortest tenure of any LM CEO. https://news.lockheedmartin.com/2020-03-16-Lockheed-Martin-Elects-James-D-Taiclet-as-President-and-CEO

April 25, 20206 yr I could be wrong about this, but I think that he took over P3d last December when Adam Breed got a promotion.

I disagree, 8GB may not be absolute top of the line like you see with the 2080ti, but it's still high end and in the realm of GPUs that cost at least half a grand. The game is just horribly optimized Edited May 21, 20206 yr by markjj Mark Javornik
May 30, 20206 yr Hi, Yesterday I downloaded the Win10 2004 update, along with nvidia driver 446.14 Just as a heads up, I'm seeing about 500mb to 1GB less VRAM usage. Together with that in game I get the message that I have 5.2 GB of VRAM at my disposal from the 6GB Nvidia 1060 GTX I have onboard. (before the update this was 5GB) So all in all this allows me to turn my p3dv5 settings up just a notch whilst avoiding the dreaded "device hung" or "out of VRAM" errors. It's no miracle solution however. I still need to disable Truesky or reduce my textures to 1024x1024. This is tested at FlyTampa EHAM + Orbx TE Netherlands or LatinVFR KMIA + Orbx OpenLC North America, UTLive traffic installed and PMDG 747-400. Kind regards, Nico Edited May 30, 20206 yr by Stroman81
