And to think, it looks the same when you launch the game on your system.  Phenomenal!  Yeah, it has it's issues, but come on, you have to give them credit.

Well it does not always look the same I never saw any of the rendering issues in any videos asobo released, selective marketing perhaps and certainly doesn't look great for people that can't even install it, running good for me and it will get fixed, I'm just looking at the other side of the coin

The only important bugs they are in a hurry to fix (and thats what he meant by “recently”) are installation problems, because that affects sales.

The rest can wait.

More, the bugs being commented here are those in the front lines, that actually keeps you from flying properly (stutters, joystick recognition, sensitivity, FDE and others) then you have scenery bugs (trees, excess of stars at high cruise) airplane issues, autopilot, fuel consumption, disabling tool tips, disabling copilot MFDs

Love the update. What seems very apparent now if not before if only to me, that there are enough needed future fixes and patches that will be occurring in the weeks to come, much less the unfinished SDK, that Asobo could have kept this sim in closed beta until next February before release. I am glad they did not. I know there are flaws, but I love this product nonetheless and will gladly fly my best despite shortcomings, look forward to freewares and paywares in and out of the Marketplace galore and grow along with the sim. It takes patience, but I'm old and have the time. (and the patience).

Interesting to see that they manually „clean up“ the photogrammetry cities. I hoped to learn something about update frequency, particularly with regard to 3D cities. It doesn’t look like they’re very busy on that front. Hopefully they’ll tell us something about that in the September world update.

And I really hope they update their elevation data!

I'm enjoying the sim. Day 1 software release have always seemed to have issues. It is what it is. Every developer has to make sure their users have the ability to use the software they paid for. Thus, I'm fine with the patching. The exciting part is when they get to the updates and additional features!

On the opposite end of the spectrum, I don't know if I really want to see "ported" planes. Maybe if they are cheaper sure, but I do not believe we'll be seeing discounts for planes fixed just enough to work in MSFS' legacy mode. There have already been examples of this in P3D. I'm very much against buying the same plane over and over. Maybe my understanding of legacy mode is different than Asobo's, but I'm hoping that the quick ports (sold at the same price or more) aren't possible. Just my opinion.

I try to keep up with everything but sometimes miss useful discussion points.  There so much more traffic on the forums now, as you might expect.  What's the CPU utilisation bug?  I've seen occasionally all 8 of my CPU threads (6700K) run up to 100% for a few seconds, and that reduces the FPS over the same period ("stutters").  Not repeatable just seems to occur at random.  I just ride it out when it occurs, but would love for it to be investigated and resolved.

Otherwise I've elminated just about all the stutters, so long as I don't try create too complex a situation for my PC to handle.  Hurry up RTX3080 and Zen3!

You want them to show you rendering issues on their trailers? When people take screenshots, do they show the best part of the sims/games? There's enough nearly perfect content that if you wanted you could fly around for awhile before coming across any major scenery issues.

I find these weekly updates extremely underwhelming, the videos are a nice touch but there's s major lack of actual information elsewhere.

They need to take a leaf from the Racing sim Devs, do a monthly roadmap and fill it up with useful information about what they're working on, what to expect in the future and what's been fixed in the past not one or two paragraphs which basically don't say much at all!

Nice that they're trying, but could do better.

Asobo are you serious?

No mention of CTDs that makes the game unplayable for me and others? So also no indication for us if the issue will even be addressed after we have to wait another week?

But after the positive reviews they can get away with everything it seems 😡

What are you talking about get away with everything? They don’t need to mention every individual issue do they, below is sufficient enough.

I can assure you they can't just get away with this. Several user reviews trashed the game for its installation issues and were asking for a refund, to the point where it made news headlines. There was definitely a negative impact due to all the problems.

I'm just saying it was made to look faultless and I can assure you everytime I fly in my area the rendering issue is a problem,I can live with it as the Sim is amazing and I'm having a ball but let's no sugar coat the problems, hats of to asobo I was just meaning the marketing machine played right into this as per usual

You can find un-important issues but they have 10 years to sort them.

Sorry but every developer that releases a game too early (which is unfortunately everyone meanwhile) has at least the decency to provide a one day patch and doesn't wait for another week to provide a fix that might, or might not fix the issues (because "issues that have recently been reported" says nothing about WHICH issues these are)

And pls don't tell me they were not aware of these bugs. Alpha/Beta testers have already reported them back in the testing period.

Just flown from Bristol down to Exeter post storm, 30+ FPS on my rig, mixture of high and ultra settings with absolutely no stutters.

Sure there are issues, the main ones for me being glitchy ATC using Azure - seems to be fixed now.

And Glitchy real world traffic behaviour
