About Doors.
Doesn't this work to open different doors?

(>K:TOGGLE_AIRCRAFT_EXIT)
(>K:SELECT_2)

where K:SELECT_? can be any door number?
or

3 (>K:TOGGLE_AIRCRAFT_EXIT)

where, as far as I know some events accept numerical params.

New in my P3D v5 world is the just released Aerosoft Poprad-Tatry scenery. A real piece of art, and a thrill to approach with the FSL A320. Coming from LDDU (Dubrovnik; Orbx), ATC sent me onto Rwy 27 via PPD and procedure turn. On final, I had a stunning winter view on the snow covererd Tatry peaks in VR. Real difficult to focus on the landing!

Then why did they add things like god rays, avatar mode and true sky?

I like the OP's concept. Thanks to those who actually provided some useful information about what might be coming in the future. And for those who couldn't resist the urge to troll once again - please go away. We really do need a sensible forum where P3D can be discussed without constant MSFS-related or P3D-bashing sidetracks.

Lol thanks, didn't mean it literally as this was a figure of speech! What I meant was an SDK so hifi can get full use of the EA part

I hope for some more ORBX TE areas.

LOWI actually is a part of TE Tyrol county already. If we get TE Germany South, Austria West, Switzerland and Italy North within a time frame of 2 or 3 years I would be happy. So, basically TE Central Alps.

If, in addition, LM finishes up EA and implements a new turboprop and heli model we are kind of save. And, they could team up with Google and stream scenery, so the user has the choice to either stream or use ORBX TE. Or use either of them for different parts in the world.

Worst thing to happen would be that LM gives up, surrenders and abandons P3D for public use.

I don't necessarily think this would be a bad thing. P3D is a serious application and the majority of people on this forum have made it clear that the pilots who use P3D are serious simmers, who use this platform to train and simulate for the real world. This aligns with what Lockheed Martin states should be the user base in addition to kids from elementary through university who wish to use this tool to further their STEM studies.

With MSFS being an offering for the general population, it would make sense if Lockheed Martin started to take the Simulation and Training requirement seriously and implement a screening or application process for those who wish to purchase this platform to assure its users are either:

1) people that are using P3D for real world Simulation and Training scenarios or

2) kids in school who can legitimately have their parents buy them a copy of P3D to further STEM studies

So you are suggesting they go out of their way to sell less copies?

Perhaps selling copies to the general population should not be their concern. As has been stated many times, the general population is not the target market.

Just picked up the Milviz Weather Advantage Radar P3DV5 update as it was a nice addon in V4. No complaints on my end for sticking with LM, if it goes away down the road it will still function without the need for a Microsoft server or a ridiculously over priced graphics card. V4.5 runs well for my needs and the recent V5 purchase which I have although a work in progress does not require require server access to function. What happens if MS corporate decides there is more money to be made using a subscription based server model for everything the sim needs to operate at some point in the future? There are no guarantees with LM or MS, I am just pleased my P3D sim is available to use as I please on or off line.
