My observations of the update so far. Overall a very big improvement.

Tested only GA aircraft so far in various conditions at various airport and scenery. sys- 4790k/ 1080ti/ 16gb/ ssd/ 1440p gsync/ tm warthog + pedals/ trackir5

- Loading times much quicker

- Initial fps stutter while loading scenery at startup is all but gone

- Overall fps is up by at least 10fps overall and my GPU is being used more effectively (almost like the cockpit view is now performing as well as the external view would perform prior to the update)

- The huge/intermittent stutters that I was experiencing while in flight (partially resolved using process lasso trick) are gone! I can stop using Process Lasso now! Yay!

- Winds in general are better. Weather related wind effects on the aircraft are noticeably better

- This last one is interesting and I'm almost certain its not placebo - control sensitivity & response is better during an approach and landing, strange but true. I can land better!?

Good job Asobo! Thx

Did they fix / removed / the PRESS ANY KEY TO START ???

No, but load times are WAY faster. Press any key & it’s only 15-20 ish seconds to the main screen

He's not the only one, I posted earlier, it's much worse for me since the patch, Was silky smooth before, now it stutters like hell and my GPU is pegged at 100% where before it was at 75-80% . Also increased my GPU temp. into  the low 80's C where it was 65C before.

Weather is now broken for me when it worked before.

Load times have not improved like others have said but it does return to the main menu more quickly.

The only improvement I have found is the Compass in my Cessna 172 is much clearer.

But I won't be flying with the performance as it is now so I won't be looking at the compass. Unless I can find a fix for this I won't be playing this sim again for a while .Will have to see what the next patch brings.  A real shame as I was enjoying the flying before.

Not saying this is you but it's get's hard to patch a sim that everyone is Moding.  I left mine alone accept for scenery which does not affect core files.

Quick update. Still very smooth on my 4770K/GTX 1070 and CPU usage is much better. Now only seeing sub 50% CPU usage (never got above 46% in the air) and it is silky smooth at 23 FPS. Going for another test.

No Setting changed, all as before. Much faster loading times, Live weather seem great now. Still reload sim after a fly to be sure. The sim is now smoother than ever, FPS are up 5% and up-to 10% at large airports.

Displays set to med.

There is now a LEMG but its really bad unless moving my addon LEMG as install was going messed it up, addon LEMG added back.

Seems to be a great update so soon after release.

OK here is my report after 1 hr of testing.

live weather very accurate with proper winds

Airliners have much improved performance

faster loading times

Still limited by main thread at times.

My specs are Ryzen 2600x, Rtx 2070 super, 32gb ram, 3840 x 1080 res. Settings are set to ultra.

Very happy with this patch. Good work Asobo !

The autopilot on the Caravan shuts off after 10 minutes now and you cant turn it back on.

Just finished a short VFR flight in rural east europe.

I3770k, 1060 super, 16 GB Ram, 1080p.

average 5 fps increase from 30/35 to 35/40.

But apart the fps counter the sim feels much more smooth. Very evident using my trackir.

Also quicker to get to stable fps after initial load. Could not really estimate how scenery loading macro stutters changed. Was taken away by sunset lighting 🤣

The missing Sensitivity screen has been added to the Known Issues list.

My controls are as they were before so the sim must have kept them.
