Amateur hour at Asobo ... Sorry lots of people are going to take offence at my comments but at the moment they have yet to prove me otherwise no matter how pretty the sim is.

Why can't one relay a point without being rude about it?

Honestly I think a lot of the 'AP broken' complaints have been user error, at least as far as the basic GA HDG/NAV/VS modes and people complaining on the MSFS forums.  FLC has had instability issues on some aircraft, and VNAV and the airliners have problems for sure, so there are real problems, but I've done plenty of 5 hour flights on NAV/ALT AP on the G1000 or G3000 with no problems.  Approaches also have a lot of problems but that's more related to the flight planning/nav data portion than the AP itself.  There are huge limitations to the AP but there are also plenty of situations where it works fine.

If Asobo just provided a manual/tutorial for using the AP I think we'd have much better signal to noise ratio on AP related items. At least people would be discussing real problems.

Thanks for explanation

Well, it must be a rather big issue, otherwise they would have never released any update considering the fact how many things got broken by each update so far...

Because they can hide behind a screen and play internet software engineer, internet lawyer, etc..pity to be honest.

No, amateur hour was what they were doing before with releasing patches without testing them.  This is a professional decision, nothing amateur about it.

We have been complaining for weeks about patches breaking stuff. Now they decide to delay so they wont release something they know is buggy or might break something else. Good on them for doing that, and we are just being our usual selves 😉

Better to wait a few days then to get a sim-breaking bug and have to wait 2 weeks for a fix.

Given the way the above sounds mainly that it’s affecting various planes, I wouldn’t be surprised if that takes more than a few days.

It's obvious that Asobo are having problems sorting out the Press Any Key feature, when they work out how to fix this they'll try and fix the easier bugs/fixes.🤪

If im the problem because they cant release something without breaking something else . Then promising something and then not coming through when its promised and due then yes im the problem. In the field where i work i am accountable for my actions and ill own that. The track record is there for all to see and objectively looking at it their project management and QA is frankly atrocious.

And i will keep complaining till they get their act together. This is a forum and everyone has their own opinion. This is mine. Simple as that. Ignore me if you want.

I don't take offense - I just think you're completely uninformed on how software development works, and casually disrespectful of the people who do it for a living.

Delaying a software update because you discovered a bug during quality assurance is the opposite of "amateur".

The said delay is for  few days, so may be Friday?

I'd bet one week. You usually want to allow for follow-up time later in the week for addressing unforeseen critical issues with any needed hotfixes... Oh what am I saying, this title doesn't do that.
