World Update II: United States (Update #7) is now live!

The Alaska Bush Trip from Asobo did not complete for some reason I guess. Suppose to be 12 legs, only showing 9, and distances not showing. Gonna reboot the sim and see!

So far so smooth. Downloaded the first 1gig on MS Store. 12 gigs on the main FS. And now waiting for the other 5gigs off the marketplace/content manager.. speeds are much better than last time.

Not everything I hoped for, but I am really unrealistic when it comes to my hopes.

I wanted to drive to the airport, see the real people that really worked at the airport fully modeled in their own faces, park in the closest parking garage and pay $45 for the first 5 minutes, get searched by security in the airport security line, etc...

Have them check my hands for fairy dust, then let me through the gate, and I get to ride on one of those golf carts for the h-capped to take me to my own personal hangar... Just as I am about to depart LAX, earthquake and hangar roof caves in and I watch plane and myself get crushed, and a big message says "GAME OVER" in a 1980's Donkey Kong font.

Come on Asobo, get with the program.

And when are they going to add the Disasters button so we can watch California split off and fall into the sea?

I was hoping USA update will fix CRQ..Nope. Bug was filed 3 month ago already

I guess the updated terrain still contains the same errors as the original. The giant spikes in Virginia are still in the same place also.

I don't feel like looking for it to prove my point, but there are at least 3 posts on this forum alone post QA which are clearly referring to as North America update. Search for it, because YOU seem misinformed or misremembering it.

Oh, let it go 😉

I did. I'm grateful for whatever shipped. Was just curious, that's all. I'm all set. 😉

Though the menu also has the hangar with your currently selected plane in the background, so it isn't just a 2D thing

I think you've answered your own question.

Are there any lights in the terminals at KATL? I don't see any.

Well alright, apparently my Alaska Bush Trip is the same name as their new one. Anyone know where to locate and see theirs? I can't find them. Deleted my bush trip save files and it appears correct now?

Not impressed at all. KATL & KDFW are nowhere near payware quality. Maybe I am missing something here. Live weather is back to INOP for me and performance has declined.

Thankfully, I still have my Caribbean mods to enjoy.

You could try the Rex addon, I've never tried it. ImagineSim's KATL probably a lot better, but didn't get that one. There are so many smaller more interesting airports that are under $15 that I still have barely even had a chance to fly.

Looks like they added shopping malls and gas stations as part of the generic buildings.
