February 16, 20215 yr Sorry if it was already asked and answered (haven't read through all 5 pages) but can someone please let me know how you're supposed to get a new update of MSFS - do you get it automatically during launch where MSFS is checking for updates? Or do you have to search for updates manually in the MS Store? I do see how MSFS is always telling me it's looking for updates. I just never finds any...even when I know a new version was just released such as in this case with 1.13.16. I'm stuck on 1.12.13 😒 I bought MSFS Premium Deluxe on launch and have never received any updates. Up until now, I worked around it by performing a complete uninstall and then a fresh install after that. Not very tempted to go that route though whenever an update is released considering the time it takes downloading all those GBs again...

Whatever the patch download is at the initial loading screen is likely to be replacing a lot of things instead of adding.
