Aerosoft CRJ released

it's an MSFS issue. It has nothing to do with the CRJ. I am with aerosoft on this one.

Is this the famous performance issue that came with SU3?

Wobby would be happy if he was here, this is what you get for calling it MSFS2020 etc

Personally, I think it's nuts to introduce a complex aircraft into MSFS at this time.  The thing is a moving target at this point.  Every update seems to be changing the rules on 3rd party developers.

man Aerosoft support at its best

https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/160569-performance-issues/page/3/&tab=comments#comment-1024997

There is memory problem and Hans locked the thread 😄. Anyway, has anybody noticed this issue that I posted Aerosoft thread?

Well at least they didn't downvote everyone who wasn't praising everything to the skies and lock it after one page like they normally do. 🤣

In fairness, I tend to agree with what they were saying on that particular thread, I too wish some flight simmers would stop obsessing about watching their FPS count and just get on with flying their toy aeroplane. But Aerosoft and the people who always kiss @ss on their forum still need to be a bit more professional on their support and stop downvoting everyone who doesn't say that Aerosoft is the best thing since sliced bread.

I wouldn't even bother posting on their forum personally, and I actually like Aerosoft generally speaking and think their products are great and don't easily get offended either, but that place is like going to a sycophants anonymous meeting.

It is fine but at least when I posted, there is clearly a problem which I have no idea if it is the sim or the CRJ. If he said, look we can revisit this issue again after Asobo fix their mess with the performance, I will be like yeah that makes sense since really is hard to know, is a sim issue or  crj issue. But closing it like that, "oh I am tired of this so I am closing it", this is really like unprofessional, is not like a charity work or donation, people paid for that.

I agree with you on that point. Maybe not the best communication method was used.

Wow what a reply.

The problems with MSFS after update 3 are clear to see even 80% of the vote here showed it but AS....sums them up perfectly

Yer FPS droping to 5-17 is completely irrelevant!!!....breath taking as always.

I've been having FPS issues as well today and not sure why.  Was perfectly fine yesterday, today massive drop.  Both days I've just been playing on the ground with the systems, haven't been able to set my yoke up yet to actually get a flight in (tonight for sure).  Yesterday I was running in the high 30's with the APU running.  Now I'm 29-32 for no reason, 47 before starting any power.  So weird.

Yes I started from C&D. Initially I picked FL400 but CRJ couldn't maintain level flight so asked ATC to descent to FL350. I tried emerg decompression to drop cabin pressure, manually decrease pressurization rate but neither thing helped

Yes, FL400 or 410 is a bit problematical unless the aircraft is lightly loaded. I’ll try doing the same to see if I can trigger the fault. In any case, best practice is to set landing elevation either before takeoff, or before reaching cruise altitude.

Thanks for advice. I posted on aerosoft forum. Will see what gives!
