But i don't remember the app (nor if it was with F1 or RXP unit as i own both (no jealous ! 🙂 ) but this point must not change anything). i guess it still always possible. i9-10850k - Asus Tuf Z490+ - 32 Go DDR4 - RTX 3070 8Go MSI Trio X

Actually, I used FS-FlightControl for the conversion, which works, too. BTW, there's a minor error in the manual. It states (p. 17) flight plans should go to C:\ProgramData\TDS\GTN\FPL which directory doesn't exist nor does C:\ProgramData\TDS\GTN. However, there is C:\ProgramData\TDS\GTNXi I made a subdirectory FPL below this one, moved the plan there and voila, it was found. Just in case someone runs into this, too. May 20, 20215 yr Hi everyone: I just bought this. For the first time since P3D, I am able to 'approach' many landings during severe weather and watch the runway numbers come into view at 500 feet, while landing in a voracious weather storm. VNAV approach actually works now, but only with this new program. I found that their nav data file does not include every small airstrip at he moment. So if you expect the Neofly program, which includes their very cowboy-field farm pasture strips, such as 10WY, it won't show up. I doubt the GTN750 data base (the trainer) ever included that. But what I have been wishing for (9 months now) is a working enjoyable GTN750 for my own. I mean I own it ! Fully paid for ($61). The data base release time was about one year ago. Works with all my favorite planes. I love landings in terrible weather conditions, like hurricanes and such. Learning the ins/outs of the GTN750 will require some time for a while. But you don't need to learn much with this immediately click-screen intuitive GPS treat. In one hour, I got my moneys' worth ! Compared to the G1000, this is a joy to use. Certainly there's a host of functions I didn't detect yet, but the beginning is really straightforward and intuitive. Plus, the trainer comes with full manuals, so you can learn all detail. May 20, 20215 yr So what Nav database is this product using ? Is it the standard Garmin Trainer DBs or something else ?

The manual says it can be updated but at a steep price. I haven't tested that yet but maybe that amplifies the jitters. As far as I understand it the GTNXi tries constantly to override the autopilot. If the autopilot wants to follow the route in the GNS it could be counterproductive for that matter . Luckily the MSFS team has already said that they are looking into this. You are right. When not loading a flight plan into the default GPS, the jittering only happens for some seconds after engaging AP. I am currently testing a small touchscreen monitor, and the experience seems to be better than using an iPad. It only costed 60 euros, so I think it might be worth keeping it... That's Garmin doing that. IIRC it's all about size (bytes and length), so in order to keep the file size manageable, airports with runways shorter than 4000 ft are not included in the worldwide database. Those 1s and 0s can add a lot of weight to an aircraft. Someone correct me on the 4000 ft minimum length if that's not right. -J 13700KF | RTX 4090 @ 1440 | 64GB DDR5 | 2 x 1TB SSDs | 1TB M.2 NVMe
