I'm curious about this project. If I'd to guess it will likely be an Airbus, perhaps a long-haul. Maybe an A330/A330neo or an A350.

Can only hope!

I’m sure if it’s anything decent, this post won’t need bumped. It’ll be all over avsim as a hot topic.

Even more redicullous is letting some "streamers" with advance access or knowledge announce the non-announcement.

Another reason one should pay absolutely no attention to the people putting up mostly Youtube garbage!

I'm personally getting real tired of the industry using "streamers" or "content creators" ( 🤮 ) to lord it over everyone else by hyping hardware and software we can't actually get our hands on, MSFS was particularly egregious as all the crew who got invited out to Microsoft hyped MSFS endlessly, before most of them turned on the platform in it's early days when it had a lot of issues, of course after we'd all spent our money on it

The best thing is not to look at it or watch it then.  It is not worth getting upset or 'tired' about.

I watched the early reviews of MSFS, and I got what I roughly expected on the 18th of August last year.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

I was part of the alpha/beta testing of MSFS, so I got exactly what I was expecting as well

but the uncritical exclusive previews by streamers were, IMO of course, in stark contrast to how their views started to align more with their viewers who were not as willing to overlook it's shortcomings in the early days after release once all the money had been spent

I love MSFS btw and very positive about it's future, I'm just pointing out how these streamer previews of products ahead of the rest of us being deemed worthy of being able to purchase them are not as impartial as people would have you believe
