Sounds like we may have allot of mod breaking changes coming.

Why not instead focus on that it looks like it is not too much work to make it compatible since they already have patched it?

I wasn't talking about LVR but more so the 100's of mods many of us have installed that are freeware.  LVR is ahead of it but with all updates so far something get's broke.  It's allot better after the last couple of updates so I'm not complaining.  The promised updates in this SP I'm really looking forward to.

I saw a post from another developer saying that legacy XML code doesn’t work well with the new update - not sure if that’s the same issue here (i don’t know much about what goes on under the hood of addons) but glad to see several devs getting ahead of this.

Yep. LVFR is getting my attention for putting out fixes early. Very nice to see and hope they continue this level of support.

They have my home airport so it's one of the add-ons I'm considering to purchase.

I might always love every LatinVFR scenery but Ricardo ( the owner) always provides good customer service and fair prices.

There should be no reason to consider it then.. Just get it. There stuff is solid. I especially enjoy Miami. Looking forward to what ever they release next.

Thanks to all of you for your support!

The idea here is when you folks update to the new version which might take some time, are ready with our products working once you update to the new version

Here is our full statement:

Quote

We have just finished uploading into the contrail app updates for ALL our MSFS products that might be impacted by a future MSFS update that you may have heard will come on the 27th. We prefer you don't have an inconvenience come the 27th, and start updating your LVFR products. We have tried to do this before the 27th to give time to our customers to download and install our products, they still work without the update.

As for the marketplace, we have sent them to Microsoft and we hope in the coming days/weeks they update them accordingly. Our commitment is to the customers and you having our products working correctly in their sim. We will always be ready for any questions and support. By releasing these updates to our products it ensures a smooth transition to the next version of MSFS.

Please open the contrail app, and if you bought via our store login. If you bought via simmarket please put your serial number so you can download and install the latest version.

You can post on these forums for any questions or email us. Thanks!

Edit: AREX Asia-Pacific is ready for the new version if bought on the Marketplace.

Once the simupdate is released we can go ahead and speak more freely about the updates.

Can you give us non insiders an idea of what aspects of your products had to be changed without incriminating yourself before the time?

This is the kind of forward thinking that keeps me buying every LVFR release for MSFS. They were good, but lately they have stepped up and become a must have, for me.

Thanks @LVFRicardo!

Exactly this.  LVFR has long been one of my favourite developers but they’re particularly on the ball when it comes to MSFS.
