Fairly damning indictment of our internet infrastructure.  I've not been long upgraded from 10 megabits to a whopping 50, only a few miles from Manchester.  Definitely helps temper your expectations and eagerness on days like today. 😄

Downloaded and installed the update and all the new content.

 

Took the C-152 Aerobat up from Haneda

 

Holding at 40 - high 40 range fps. This is with high settings across the board. Nice given my system specs (see signature).

I got perpetual message "your package out of date".  After logging in it goes "checking for update" and comes back with the same message!

I'm stuck on acquiring license for asobo-discovery-giza, and that's only 5% in!

It shows all service are running, so I have no clue.

I keep restarting which works to clear the current package and move on to the next, but it quickly gets into another loop on the next one. Gonna have to go and do some work so I guess I'll be coming back later to try again.

after 3 hours and 21%, I'm stuck on Acquiring license as well. "This may take some time"  

Anyone know how much time?  It's been on the message for 25 minutes?  This is turning into a friggin' disaster!

Oh, that's neat, the new satellite mapping on the world map also shows any custom ground textures your addons have

Just hold on...it's an issue with the server. Someone must have kicked the hamster wheel because mine just continued again. 

Do I have to sign in?? I get press any key to start and xbox ask me to sign in with email...

I'm not using x-box, I'm using a pc

I’m wondering if uninstalling and reinstalling would be a better bet.

I have a 1.2Gbps connection, so bandwidth isn’t the issue. I also have no 3rd party add on products, so wondering if a clean install would be a better choice for me. 

Did I luck out or the servers calmed down ? It's downloading the first 40gb at a very nice clip.. Can't complain

Hahaha... Thanks for the reassurance.  Mine started again too.  Phew!

Try logging out of the xbox app and MS store. Then restart your PC and log back in to see if it fixes things...
