Hey @YoYo Re repaints

I understand that you have to go through Bender and that  there is usually no paintkit coming with MFS aircraft. Is that also true for the Porter, no old fashioned layered painkit ? Asking for a friend 😁

PK is present, check bottom of this webpage: https://milviz.com/flight/products/PC62020/index.php

Generally one has to decide if it's worth trying to defend what you have been trying to "put forth". Sometimes the evidence is so against you, it's better to fade to the back of the conversation and hope your misplaced argument also "fades". Life doesn't have to be miserable. I guess it is a personal choice.

I totally agree, but sometimes I like a bit of drama as it brings out a lot of lovely quotes, anecdotes, and life lessons such as this - these forums are like my finishing school!

I love Dominique's comparison, but it is lost on us English, as pizzed trousers is quintessentially an English thing... normally at 2 in the morning in a kebab shop!

In any case, back to the NXi...  I believe a WT spokesperson said the next release would probably be shortly after SU6, so not too long to wait.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Or, as you get older, you can hold for as long as it takes...Until you put the key in the front door! 😵

Is that a trans-gender repaint methodology? 🤣

I’m going to get flamed for this but…

OK that does it for me.  I can no longer stand idly by after reading this "rant".  I have been holding off on purchasing this offering and have also now decided to purchase it after witnessing the heroic effort to inform the user base through multiple sources of website info, user manual, YT videos and forum posts.

So although you may have lost one customer you will gain another one, that will happily read what you put in the manual.

I’m going to get flamed for this but… really?   Bad mouthing?  How so?  By saying that it’s on them?  It is.  They have said so.  Everyone but you and the persons who (see below) don’t do their own due diligence know this or, at the least, are aware of this.

Arrogance?   In this thread alone, it’s been said more than 5 times that the NXI is not yet compatible and that WT is working on it and that we’re in touch with WT on this.  We’ve said all this many MANY times.  In this thread alone.

It’s in the manual.  It’s on the product page.  It’s in the comments on 15+ threads all over the net. It’s on the YT reviews.

How, exactly, are we supposed to be super nice when people don’t even read the product page, read the manual, read the comments, check the videos, read the answers?

Please, there’s customer service and there’s dealing with people who are not paying attention or just aren’t doing their own due diligence.  Maybe that’s you?   Want a job like this?  Didn’t think so…

It’s become obvious, in this day and age, that the customer is NOT always right.  The customer, in fact, owes just as much respect to the vendor as the other way around.

I’m trying really hard here but, how many times do we have to say… Don't use the NXI, or this isn’t on us and that WT IS working on it???

50?  100?  10000?  And we’re supposed to keep our cool?  We’re DEVS… not martyrs, dying on our products not working because someone didn’t effing read the manual, product page, comments…

enough with this stuff.  RTFM.

If you’re going to buy something READ THE EFFING MANUAL. THERES A REASON WE WROTE IT.

sheesh.  Really.

We make aircraft simulations.  Good ones.  Some are maybe even great.  Some are good enough for the US of A to use as training products.  And they don’t ever EVER speak to us as some of you do.  Never.

You're so cute.  "Everyone but you and the persons who don't do their own due diligence"... except I was well aware of the limitation, and clearly indicated that my only issue was with the customer interaction, and not the limitation, or who was at fault.  It is a sad reality that anyone involved in sale to the public will have to deal with unreasonable customers.  Some learn to deal with it gracefully, and some take your approach.  And, yes, you're supposed to keep your cool.  You're selling an entertainment product, not a necessity.  Not being a jerk just because you have some customers being jerks hardly equates to dying on your products not working because someone didn't read the manual.  There is a middle ground.

Therefore... If the vendor treats the customer with disdain, then clearly the vendor deserves to be treated with disdain, in return.

You do indeed make good aircraft simulations, but anyone that's ever been involved in selling anything to the public will be involved in dealing with unreasonable customers.  Roll with it, don't take everything as a personal affront, and maybe lighten up on the caffeine.  sheesh. Really.

Im not following. Before getting the product i read this whole thread (Yes, all the pages), i saw the reviews and even downloaded the manual and searched here and on the official msfs forums. I never saw any disdain, arrogance or anything. Quite the contrary, they explained time and time again what is the situation, what will happen in the future, who is working on that and they even said that they where working together to bring the NXi to the porter. So, im not following. 😏

Could people unhappy with Milviz maybe start a new thread so we can focus on the aircraft itself.

and anyone who cannot get off the soapbox will take a vacation..

The topic is the PC 6 - period - any personal disagreements with Milviz will be handled off forum.

Just MHO but I could never be a dev - I blew up over the same question asked and answered over and over long before he did.

I expect some have a hidden agenda - this will not be tolerated - now back to the aircraft.
