October 5, 20214 yr This obsession with the NXi is something that I do not quite understand. After a good dozen of flights, I find that the Porter flies very well with the old KAP to stabilize a heading and altitude when needed and the default G1000 helps to the situational awareness. And when the time comes to approach and land, you don't want to let Otto land you, you want to do that yourself ! A pilot's plane 😃 ! I am sure that the NXi is a nice giizmo but it don't miss it. The only thing that I find a little awkward with the 1000 is to read the engine gauges on the MFD, the font is too small for me and the numbers difficult to read but I suppose it is the same in the NXi. And the traditional six-pack set to come should bring more readable gauges. Congrats Milviz, you did a great job. As every other plane seems to work with the nxi but yours doesn't it seems to me that it's down to you to fix it not WT. But what do I know?
October 5, 20214 yr You have to manually set the Heading bug (GTN gives you the Course setting, will update it if you get blown off course) if you follow a flight plan with NXi and GTN plugin. @Milviz @Milviz Official Any firm plans yet for NXi integration?
