BLINDNESS preventing from actually seeing that XP already offers a much more clean, fully featured, 3pd-friendly base for development of it's already powerful flight simulation, not to mention the capabilities of it's flight dynamics / overall physics modelling, something a feel of arcade is the most they can get from the other platform at it's present stage...

No need for XP12 then.

You've obviously not tried VR yet. Its pretty much identical to what the guy sees in that video only you cant see the steam gear.

Lot's of room for evolution always, and it appears it has been taken in consideration in pretty much all areas that interest me in a flightsim, after watching their FSExpo presentation.

I honestly couldn't feel more satisfied than I felt, although they didn't mention the callendar and ephemeris, but I believe they didn't have the time to speak about it...

Hidden some posts (and those that replied to them) that were obviously here to try to derail the topic again. Further such posts will result in time-off from the site.

I'd love for just one topic about X-Plane to actually remain decent and interesting.... (but seems that is too much to ask for lately).

I agree, there should be a rule that prevents users from posting too much in any given thread.

Expectancy fatigue will set in soon if they don't give some rough eta soon rather than drip feeding titillation vids.

Don't count on it.

This is a case of damned if you do, damned if you don't.  On one hand, they can satisfy the public by giving an ETA, and make everyone happy.

On the other hand, there'll be hell to pay if they miss the ETA.  And ETA's are almost never, if EVER, adhered to.  There's always something that crops up at the 11th hour.

The safest thing they can do, by everyone, is actually finish it, confirm it's ready, and then announce an ETA for a week/2 weeks/a month later.

But then what's the point of that?  If it's ready, RELEASE IT!

I'd be surprised and disappointed if that new grass doesn't have depth by the time they release, but already a massive upgrade to every airport across the world.
