What are the going to price the Connie at when it is finished, more than the DC6. Good luck with that. The Connie fly's really well once you get used to the systems, it just needs some fine tuning, if all the updates come about it should be quite an immersive aircraft, whether or not people will pay the price is another matter, it will depend on the finished product. November 10, 20214 yr Where's Chock? I need him to review it! (Please). Seems expensive for a beta. Too expensive unless I learn otherwise? Edited November 10, 20214 yr by jarmstro
November 10, 20214 yr I was able to load it. And I'm sorry for those who bought it ( like myself). Not even close to DC-6 or PMDG level. I feel like I'm in some kind of alpha stage of development. You may love Connie and convince yourself otherwise but its not few fixes away. I must say graphic was much better than I expected that is the only positive thing I can say! November 10, 20214 yr OK, after talking to developers I decided to keep it. While I still think Connies is far raw and not worth at the moment. November 10, 20214 yr Looks pretty bad in this review, but then I am spoiled by the DC6 . Edited November 10, 20214 yr by Bobsk8
November 10, 20214 yr I think that is a good honest review of the Connie, I went out on a limb and bought it, the price is I believe high for an unfinished product, but I wanted this particular aircraft, the A2A version does not look like it is coming to MSFS, so this looks like the only option. There is now smoke when you start up the engines, looks good, you have to download a file from Redwings website. I also have the DC6 which we all know is a great product. This is the update schedule https://redwing-copter.com/aircraft-l1049/ True and it makes some sense as long as they start reasonably. And there is some hypocrisy on my part since I have purchased both the HPG H145 and the Milvis PC-6 Porter, both of which are early access products. But HPG also released the freeware and fully functional H135 before offering the H145, which proved - to me - that they have the chops to make a truly exceptional product, and the continuous and rapid updates are absolutely confirming that. And the Porter is (perhaps deeply?) discounted at an extremely reasonable 29 bones while also being a completely finished, standalone product save for some extra trimmings like floats and a steam gauge option. As a result both are in my short list of favorite aircraft to fly. "That's what" - She

November 11, 20214 yr Developers: This is an early release for people keen to get it early and comes at a discount, you will be entitled to the final version eventually at no extra cost, but be aware the current release is not finished. If your after a complete product hold off and buy it later at the full price later. Only buy this if you are happy with an early release/beta version of the product. Main Forums: Ripoff - it is not finished. Edited November 11, 20214 yr by Glenn Fitzpatrick
