Btacon - thanks for correcting me, I eventually realized that in my senile condition I was confusing the 1000 with the 750. 🙄

That leads to another question: If I got the TDS 750 what happens with the GNS750's in various Carenado models which tap into the PMS50 edition. I see that the TDS version works on the Just Flight Pipers and this new Cessna but I am wondering if there would be a conflict if I have BOTH the PMS50 and the TDS versions in my Community folder? Anybody know?

I have all three (PMS50.GTN750, TDS 750) and they coexists just fine. All you have to do is select the one GPS unit you want to use at the time

I have both installed, and they happily co-exist.

If you used the RXP or F1 GTN 750s in P3D, you will appreciate the TDS GTN 750.

Additionally, I have a user mod available to put the TDS GTN into the Carenado C337 🙂

One issue with this beauty...as you zoom away from the aircraft in external view it seems that the interior wall disappears (and re-appears when you zoom in).

Perhaps I have whatever setting governs LOD too low on my sim as when landing at the new Renton airport the end of runway fence’s logo doesn’t pop up until you’re right on top of it either?

I'm a sucker for good textures and graphics, and by God the quality on this plane is world class! All the rivets and vortex generators and paint flakes and metal chips have been meticulously rendered and thought out. It's a literal work of art. Just wanted to post my appreciation on raising the bar. Bravo!

I have yet to get a gtn750 for msfs2020. I see there is more than one available......which one is recommended? Thanks.

Anyone have issues with the vor? It’s not grabbing vor’s on the hsi when I tune them, using the pms gtn and have vloc  selected?

Did a short flight but cheated and used the CTRL+E method to start the engines (the battery has to be on to make this work). Issues:

• Getting the A/P to work with my Honeycomb Bravo was "iffy". In addition, using the buttons in the sim seemed buggy (e.g. unresponsive) as well. I think they mentioned that in their list of coming "fixes".
• The Registration number on the exterior did not change to match my custom registration
• Some of the electrical switches that are indicated to have two positions only go one way. For example, the fuel pumps don't go to the low setting and the landing lights cannot be retracted. Although the arrow points down, clicking moves the switch up instead.
• When using the GTN750Nxi liveries, the GTN's do not come on. The plain GNS750 (PM50 versions) do work if you choose any of those liveries.  May be an issue with the GTN750NXi in the MS Store.

I recommend this aircraft even in the beta state. I'm like Bernard and usually stay away from betas but this one is far enough along, and the promise of regular updates, made me want to not wait. Plus the special pricing right now.

Now, I have to decide if I still want the Milviz 310 when it is finally released.

Thanks for the info about control E and turning on the battery switch first. I'll try that. Great post for info by the way.

First flight impressions not reading the manual (will):

-Can't get the nav in A/P to work in the GTN750 version. This might be because of my logitech A/P Flight Switch. I'm familiar with GFC 600 A/P operations as that's whats in my plane. I'm in "Heading" mode and nav just puts it in standby as "Loc". The heading button just triggers "ROL" mode and no way to switch it.

-The EFB is finicky. I'm right clicking to move the next page but cant figure out how to bring up checklists. Also, "newb" payware question, but how do I get back in the cockpit when I'm doing the preflight inspection?

-On both takeoffs I had to deflect full right rudder and I'm not sure why. Once in the air, the plane was smooth. 

-Wish a G500 or 500txi was available, but I'm sure someone at some point will take on those avionics!

-Textures are amazing and sound is top notch! I can not wait to take this up and down the eastern seaboard. A pressurized cabin class piston twins are a bit of "dinosaurs" today, but this was one of the best ever made!

-Haven't played it in VR yet, but excited to do so!

I'm spoiled by the Flight One 441 Conquest II Turbo in P3D but may jump in at some point.

not sure if I'm interpreting the EFB pressure correctly but it looks wrong to me. It's about 30.01 in-sim. Looks like the decimals are off or something
