You seem to ignore the constant reports of many users, myself included, who have no problems with the AP. Perhaps you should brush up on your flying skills and ease up on the repetitive complaints.

You are entitled to your opinion, don't beat a drum with it.

Ive done 3 flights today. IAS and NAV from take off . VS for descent and captures smoothly the GS and follows it all the way down. So just what part is not working?

HDG Works

NAV Works

IAS works

VS works

LOC/GS works.

Do you just delete the folder or do you remove it using windows how you should do? before installing new one?

Becasue I dont see anything wrong with the AP now.

Perhaps you are using the NXi GTN. People seem to indicate the AP works with that unit.

As for uninstalling, I use the Windows Add/remove Programs function to remove previous versions, before re-installing the new one.

Also, the AP works wonderfully and captures an ILS--provided I have not been in GPS mode previously. But it sucks having to fly everywhere in HDG mode.

Have you tried just using HDG from the IAF to the LOC, then see if it works. Just a thought.

yes your doing it the right way using Add/remove as it says you must use that way to un install.

I can't download latest version of Chancellor. Files downloaded less half of the size. Now I'm getting  "you have reached the maximum number of downloads allowed" 😞

The AP works fine for me. ILS approaches are solid as a rock here.....are we talking about the same plane lol.

I'm starting to suspect Turbomax doesn't even own the plane. As of the latest version the AP is functioning perfectly well. ILS and RNAV all rock solid for me.

Which variant there are 3 of course? last ILS approach I tried was a total mess mess with the GTNxi Garman AP. Rnav was fine. Tried three different aircraft in MSFS and worked fine. One in p3d and worked perfect. So, I don't believe it is me.

I just tried a short flight. Began on the ground and took off in GPS mode, then immediately switched to HDG mode for the transition to the LOC. After selecting APPR, the AP won't capture the LOC or GS.

Note, this is using the PMS payware GTN.

 

Edit: I just did the exact same flight in the Baron and it worked flawlessly, so its the C414 that has the issue.
