I don't have the PMS installed in any other aircraft, so I can't be sure whether it is the GPS unit or the C414. From other posts and yours it seems like the GTNxi is the problem then.

April 21, 20224 yr Moderator ok, FWIW - just finished a flight from KBUR-KSBP using ILS11 with FRAMS transition. Using Steve Drabek's all metal livery and PMS50 Premium Flight altitude was 10K - took off started climb to 10k -using AP and VS mode and NAV (GPS) mode Crossed FRAMS at 4000ft , AP turned to course, reduced speed to 90kts and descended to IAF alt of 2400 Just before reaching IAF - switch PMS50 to VLOC - AP showed LOC - enabled APR - AP then showed GS armed On crossing IAF - GS became active and a/c continued to descend to rwy as expected. So, *FOR ME* - I am able to utilize ILS approach with BOTH the GTNXi 750 and the PMS50 RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160

April 22, 20224 yr Aircraft: Cessna 414AW Chancellor Beta 1.6.2 PMSGTN 750 FREE VERSION APPR Issue: I can confirm the PMSGTN 750 FREE VERSION does not capture the LOC and GS. 1. FP = KPOV LMCTG KYNG 2. Tune VOR1 to 110.1 (RWY 14 ILS) 3. Fly at 3000 ft to LMCTG then 2900 approaching LMCTG 4. Click HDG and fly 98 (or so) to LMCTG 5. Set VOR1 to 143 (On GTN click CDI where VLOC is displayed) 6. Click APPR Will not capture ILS or GS. NOTE: Using the same flight plan and procedure, the SWS RV-14A captures both the LOC and GS perfectly using the PMSGTN 750 free version. April 22, 20224 yr PMS GTN 750 2.1.29 now available - APGA: captured altitude was not correct. APGA: option for working with a mechanical altitude selector. Autopilot page and APGA: fixed some bug in approach mode detection. Better GSI detection in WTT mode.
April 22, 20224 yr For me with the PMS750 I do not get glide slope capture. But I don't get glide slope capture with the PMDG DC6 either. I suspect I have an addon that is causing it. But which?

At some stage I will try with a clean community folder bar the plane and the PMS. As I mentioned I have exactly the same issue with the DC6 so I strongly suspect a conflict with another addon. The GNT750 works fine with other planes such as the JF Arrow however. I wonder if it's the G1000nxi? Edited April 22, 20224 yr by jarmstro
