April 30, 20224 yr Several flights now and this plane feels and looks like a plane. No fudging around - this is the best realism for me yet in MSFS. Great stuff on flightsim.to already also. ns Edited April 30, 20224 yr by bean_sprout AMD RYZEN 9 5900X 12 CORE CPU - ZOTAC RTX 3060Ti GPU - NZXT H510i ELITE CASE - EVO M.2 970 500GB DRIVE - 32GB XTREEM 4000 MEM - XPG GOLD 80+ 650 WATT PS - NZXT 280 HYBRID COOLER
May 2, 20224 yr What is the official landing distance required for the Chancellor? Sometimes I see 4000ft and often 2500ft. I should be able to get at least 195kts indicated in a decent cruise. May 2, 20224 yr I believe that you need to be above FL120 before the turbos really kick in for a cruise climb. ns AMD RYZEN 9 5900X 12 CORE CPU - ZOTAC RTX 3060Ti GPU - NZXT H510i ELITE CASE - EVO M.2 970 500GB DRIVE - 32GB XTREEM 4000 MEM - XPG GOLD 80+ 650 WATT PS - NZXT 280 HYBRID COOLER

The plane's cruise speed is coming far lower than the published charts. Either that or I'm missing something.🧐 For the record this wasn't the case a few updates back. Am I missing something here?🤨 Since this plane is turbocharged you'll want to go into the low FL200's to see the quickest true airspeed. About 215 KTAS up at FL200 at 75% power. I'm not exactly sure what is required for 75% - maybe 30" and 2300 rpm or so. Indicated would only be around 150-155 knots. Oh, fwiw the current 1.71 build is too slow - they must have changed some drag settings. May 2, 20224 yr Performance seems to have been dialled way back for this release. Why.? As for indicated vs true…..at FL 200 add approx 35% to indicated to get true airspeed. The 35% is not carved in stone as oat etc will vary it some.

May 3, 20224 yr New Beta version 1.8 out, looking forward to gibing it a spin tonight: Quote UPDATES: 1. Pilot and Copilot window handle tooltip fixed. 2. EFB tablet turns off when hidden and preserves battery. 3. Chain support with leather cover for the cabin door clipping has been improved. 4. The cabin door animation now shows in LOD2 model. 5. The GNS530 power/volume knob no longer controls the buttons and knobs backlighting. The backlighting was also on the compass & ped panel light control brightness lever and has been removed. The GNS 530 backlighting is now on the C414 radio panel light control brightness lever. 6. New IAS mode added to the GFC600. Smooth transition and this button works from your hardware by default. 7. Last version we added more overall drag and adjusted some of the control effectiveness and this caused issues with fuel rate, engine power, speeds and aileron control. These have been adjusted for the new drag. "That's what" - She
May 3, 20224 yr Just had a lovely flight in the C414.. feels right to me! Also, autopilot worked correctly, from take-off to a flawless LPV landing.. 🙂 Bert
