May I ask what are you specs?

Desktop 9900K with laptop 2080, 64GB ram, 5120X1440, almost all settings on high, some ultra and texture resolution from medium to high depending on scenery, fps I want, etc...

But it's not about my specs, I seems that they are not using the correct texture for some area, or they are missing.

Nothing wrong on your specs, obviously 😉
I'll try to investigate the matter at some point

Since I don't yet own this plane, I have not read all 52 pages of the thread, so this may be redundant and not helpful.

I suppose you all have your own startup checklist , Mr. Johnathon Beckett has a video and PDF version of the cold and dark startup that's used in the video. You have to register at his small forum to download the PDF checklist, but since the forum is small there is really no down side to joining, it isn't going to be a hassle.

pdf checklist is here (need to register).

A 3rd party sound pack for the Maddog, which exists for P3D and was great, will come into MSFS in July or August (by "Immersive Audio"). While this will solve all sound problems for sure and will give the Maddog an excellent sound, it will probably mean that this will not be updated by Leonardo themselves. I was hoping they'd buy the license from Immersive Audio; it seems otherwise very difficult to get new sounds from a real MD-82, so if they don't partner up with Immersive Audio they will probably not update it.
In case Leonardo reads this here: Please contact Immersive Audio and make a deal about a license before they release it. You should have made enough money by now and this will make the Maddog only better.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

I absolutely agree.  I can get over the textures much more than the sounds.  Whether Leonardo provides a free update or I have to shell out more money for a third party sound pack is currently of not much consequence after already spending 80 USD.  It will impact my decision to purchase additional Leonardo content though.

Thing is Leonardo don't make any other content other than the MD80. Been like that since fsx. They do update their MD82 from time to time though.

They will release the MD83 & MD88 expansion at least.

Did not realize that I only had it for FSX pre MSFS.

Looks like they pushed out an update for the Maddog.  Link

Yep, an update has apparently been dropped a few hrs ago - now 1.0b84 build - which should either be highlighted upon opening the SimMarket app or launching Maddog X Load Manager.

For some obscure reasons both methods fail to show an update for me, still on 1.0b82

Anyone else?

Cheers,
