@Fiorentoni, @Car147, @Cpt_Piett Sold, the Airbus it will be. Thanks! Apparently the FENIX EFB is way ahead of the competition and the a/c is not a killer on frame rates. I’m running a 2080ti, so I should be good.

As I've got older, I'm a little less inclined to jump through hoops to get something working.  I watched many videos of the PMDG 737 but the fact there isn't a fully integrated EFB put me off enough to see what the Fenix offered.  Now I've seen the brilliance of the Fenix EFB, I will be purchasing the A320 at release.  I was stunned at how everything was integrated into that thing!  This will be my first airliner for 10 years, that's how impressed I was!

Internal Storage 1TB NVMe PCIe SSD
External Storage Three 4Tb HDs

My god. One dollar for everytime PMDG is mentioned in a Fenix thread.

No, I completely disagree, it's quite a lot.

We have to remember that the cockpit is far from factory fresh, there are scratches above the wings, oil/fuel marks everywhere and paint in the cargo bay is ruined. Really looks like a third or forth hand plane... 😁

That will be me.  I'm 60 now and have been flight simming since my first one on the Sinclair Spectrum - I think it was called 'Fighter Pilot'.  Just green for the ground and blue for the sky, with triangles for the enemies!  After my wife goes to bed I spend all night simming until about 5am.  I'm always thinking I would like to be a bit younger so I could see where flight simulation goes in the future.

Ha, another user of the calculator looking keyboard-keys plastic covered switches Z80 sporting Sinclair!  Just hook it up to the Atari-like UHF converter box connected via screw terminals to your TV and you were set.  My first was a Compaq 'portable' with a 4 inch screen (i think) running MSFS.  And of course the requisite 'Chuck Yeager' on the C64, then MSFS on an Amstrad PC clone, JET....Man we are a bit spoiled nowadays that is for sure.  I don't know about you though, but word not allowed those pixelated lines of Meigs field over the singular green with the singular blue sky was like a REVOLUTION...COLOR!  Looked SO real to me at the time...I remember getting dizzy flying JET and the first HORNET (2.0) I purchased.

I'm a couple months away from 50 btw.  50 is definitely the new....45.  I think the breaks don't really kick in until 60 :0, then its supposed to be like 50....hell I'm still 16 when it comes to simming though.

I was secretly hoping no one would tell me.  I "liked" your response but now I will be visiting that site every 5 minutes until release. Thanks.😂

Great! Then we have someone who can inform us immediately. We count on you champ 😄

 £49.99 - it's British pounds, not US dollars. That's $61.67 US or EUR 58.92 according to Google's conversion 😉

I still agree though that it's a steal. Probably I won't be able to resist, even though I intended to concentrate on the PMDG 737 for the time being😅

My simming system: AMD Ryzen 5800X3D, 32GB RAM, RTX 4070 Ti Super 16GB, LG 38" 3840x1600

The price is really a steal, fair play to them, I hope they sell millions.

Specs: 11900K (5ghz), 64GB ram 3600mhz, RTX 3080 ti

First airliner purchase in 10 years for me - I'm going to be disappointed if the servers don't crash and I have to wait a few hours for the A320 😁

CPU Ryzen 7800X 3D  RAM 32GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR5 6000MHz GPU GEFORCE RTX 4090
Monitor AOC AGON AG352UCG UltraWide G-Sync @ 3440x1440
Internal Storage 1TB NVMe PCIe SSD
External Storage Three 4Tb HDs

What this does for me is actually save me some money, because I wanted to get the PMDG 738, and not the 737. But as we all know, that isn't planned to release until August, so I couldn't resist. I'm not really a Boeing guy, so now with the Fenix coming out, I won't be buying any of the other 73's from PMDG. The only other interesting airplanes in their portfolio for me right now is the 74 and the 777.

II see this get quoted a lot, in US dollars.  I wonder why this price gets quoted so much in US dollars?

The original post by Aamir clearly had the pounds sign beside it. That makes 49.99 pounds around $61 USD, according to today’s exchange rate.

How do so many people come away thinking it’s $50 USD? You aren’t the first I have seen who thought it was $50 USD. Also, a lot of other people think the PMDG 737 is way more expensive than the Fenix A320, when it’s only about $9 more expensive - they also probably thought the Fenix A320 was $50 USD.

Is it Americans that see this? Just asking, because I am Canadian, and when buying stuff on the Internet, Euro, Pounds, Yen, US dollars, etc, is very obvious to me.

9m GBP for the Fenix? Heck, that’s more expensive than the 9m USD for the PMDG. No way!

Phil Leaven

i5 10600KF, 32 GB 3200 RAM, ASUS 4070 12GB EVO, Asus ROG Z490-H, 2 WD Black NVME for each Win11 (500GB) and MSFS (1TB), Rolling Cache 16GB, Photogrammetry always OFF, Live Weather and Live Traffic always ON, Res 2560x1440 on 27"

I hope this Fenix A320 will perform well and look as good in VR as in 2D. It seems just perfect for VR, with everything in the EFB and no need for extra toolbar extensions except maybe the pushback tool. I hope it has a similar way to push and pull knobs and turn switches with the mouse left and right button (the way PMDG has introduced), is just perfect.

Can't wait!
