June 4, 20224 yr "Gawd...but do I LOVE this plane!"----> Great immersion, intuitive cockpit and displays...TONS of user driven variables...comportment....WOW, WOW, and WOW! Just landed at Myrtle Beach, inbound from Flint, Michigan...and this is certainly, now, my go-to 'sled' for mostly ...well, everything! Best bang for the MSFS buck, I have seen! A tip....for anybody that has the MSFS load bar seem to stall at around 55-70 percent load in....merely open up the Task Manager Window...and then wait three seconds and close it. I believe that there is a MSFS SU9 'glitch' between MSFS SU9 and W10/11, that hangs W10/11. When you force W10/11 to focus on the Task Manager...it breaks that 'stall' and W10/11 then carries on with the task of loading MSFS fully to the opening 'whada you wanna do ' screen. If your load in stalls, give this tip a go...it works every time for me.... Edited June 4, 20224 yr by Sesquashtoo

I get this happening sometimes, but I don't need to open the task manager - simply pressing the WIN key (which takes focus from MSFS, to the desktop) refreshes it and MSFS finishes the load. June 4, 20224 yr This airplane has had the same effect on me as the Citation Mustang did in P3D v4.5. This one is even better because MSFS terrain visuals, airports, water, and even weather are light years away from what I experienced in FSX/P3D/XP11. I hope that the Citation Mustang that is being developed for MSFS is as good as this one. If not, the HJet is already on my top 5 of go to fleet. MSFS

There is just so much innovation in this VLJ in both the real world and what has been carried over into the sim. Its so automated and easy to fly (by design mind you), that it's almost boring to fly...but that is the point. Less heads down and deep system knowledge is needed to get her from point A to B, leaving you more time to sightsee along the way. 🙂 Getting used to the engines on over-wing pods is a big one for most of us...but the engineering behind its design is fascinating. For the real pilot/passengers....less airframe vibration, quieter, and without squeezing in the rear of the fuse to fit the engines, massive room for storage and a potty in the back (unheard of for jets in the Very light category). Back when she was 1st introduced to the market, I did like most of us and tilted my head sideways in curiosity at the odd-looking bird. But when I read the reasons behind her design, I was hooked. All business jets should consider this approach to recover all that storage space in the rear. Once I got the Navigraph charts plugged into the G3000, she became my go-to private jet for short to medium flights (a stop for fuel doesn't bother me in flightsim...I'm not paying for the JP5, LOL) Regards, Steve DraGet my paints for MSFS planes at flightsim.to here, and iFly 737s hereDownload my FSX, P3D paints at Avsim by clicking here

I'm doing the unthinkable. I'm using default ATC as the Co-Pilot and flying approaches to minimums. I had no idea this could be so much fun! Jose MSFS

When you’re in it the arrows turn green. Also, make sure you set flaps first, as that changes the T/O trim range. EddieKABQ

I did two color swaps for the HDJT so far.... I don't love either of them - they need custom comp files so they look gold and or shiny. And the green isn't quite right in the sim... argh! I also need to get back to work on my C414 blue and gold paint but so little time these days! Maybe it's good we don't have a paintkit for her yet....I'd be tempted to shuffle my paint hangar around to move them to the front. Anyone know how many wingtips get bent when shuffling planes in a packed hangar? A little rampee story from my distant past. I was a ramp rat at a local airport where Quest Diagnostics maintained a fleet of their birds that shuttle lab results across the country. I can't recall the bird, but I think they were actually 310s, LOL. Anyway, they had about 15 I think and occupied an entire hangar on the airport and they were literally crammed in there like sardines! You could not even walk between the wingtips, you had to crouch under the wing to get by. I was working days and one of our tasks near the end of our shift was to get an order sheet from them, I want to say around 4pm, and completely reshuffle the entire hangar so the 1st bird on the schedule was at the front, and so on. This took 2 rampees almost 2 hours, and 3-4 when you had to do it alone. One night, after doing this highly stressful and horrible task for weeks at that point...by myself this particular evening, I had just finished reshuffling the hangar for that night's run, when the dispatcher for Quest comes running up to me and said, I'm sorry, I gave you last night's schedule, you'll have to reshuffle them for tonight's run. I said, "No, you'll have to reshuffle them" and walked off the job. 1st time I'd ever quit at anything, LOL. The expression on his face was priceless, still remember it to this day 🤣 Regards, Steve DraGet my paints for MSFS planes at flightsim.to here, and iFly 737s hereDownload my FSX, P3D paints at Avsim by clicking here
June 4, 20224 yr Does this have any system depth, can one do something wrong or does it even have failures? For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
