July 8, 20223 yr Great news, this is going to be a hefty update with potentially alot of 3rd party breakage than ever before. The complaining and man-tears will be delicious but with this extended beta period hopefully the breakages will be zero by the end of August.
July 8, 20223 yr Would really like to see if they’ll include a fix for ultra long hauls. Right now anything over 9+ hours causes a CTD for many users. With long haulers in the near future (already here really), this needs to be fixed! Taxi ribbon and also name plates get obviously a quick toggle key assignment. For better immersion I always have the name plates off since I am flying with live traffic all the time and heaven can be plastered with these tags. But every once in a while I would like to see who is online re Abe- we are in a crazy crazy world these days, too sad. July 8, 20223 yr I'm assuming that DLSS is only relevent for Nvidia users. I hope DX12 allows me to turn my TLOD above 130 without major stuttering. I had it on 200 in the earlier builds.
July 8, 20223 yr DLSS will provide you not a single extra frame per second if you are in a CPU-limited situation (which is quite often the case in MSFS...). I wonder how people think that due to DLSS, they will get extra FPS? Only if you are running 4K or VR with reasonably high resolution and a rather weak GPU, you will profit from DLSS... OR: if your GPU is generally on the weak side not allowing ultra settings already it might provide you some overhead that can be "invested" into image quality... DX12 on the other hand might really help to move load off the CPU resulting in higher FPS in CPU-limited situations. I hope 😉 Greetings, Chris AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 2x32GB DDR5 6000MT/s RAM, MSI RTX 4090 Ventus 3X, Windows 11 Home, MSFS2024

July 8, 20223 yr I'm hoping that DLSS will primarily help with shimmering and improve antialiasing. And after that, performance will be just a bonus. Ryzen 9 9950X3D, 64Gb DDR5@6000Mhz cl30, PCIe 4 NVMe SSD, RTX4090 GPU
