Yeah, DLSS has been out for 3 years now and is featured in over 200 games. I'm sure the novel idea of being able to enable it on unsupported hardware hasn't come up in anyone's mind nor has it been attempted by people much, much smarter than your friend. I'm sure now, 3 years later, your buddy will crack the code. July 10, 20223 yr Not seeing that much of a performance increase with DLSS. Still can't push LOD past 130 or else I get lots of stutters. Disappointed to say the least. Running 5800x, 3080. This was tested around KSAN and KLAX in the FBW A320.

Running 5800x, 3080. LOD is geometry, i.e CPU bound effect. DLSS won't help you there. July 10, 20223 yr Even with DX12, it was at most 2-3fps more. Shouldn't Asobo come at this with a different angle - optimize CPU utilization. Even in heavy populated areas like KLAX, the CPU was hovering around 40%. I don't think the solution is to throw more money into our PC's if said software is poorly optimized.

July 10, 20223 yr for me DX12 is causing artifacts in the scenery and seems not that smooth (i9900k and 2080ti) so i went back to Dx11 and DSLL and that is kind of ok Carsten U

July 10, 20223 yr From reading comments around the internet, they're saying DX12 works better with certain AMD CPUs than with Intel? Is that correct? And what CPUs?
