Carenado PC12 is out

Featured Replies

It's exactly what I expected, an uncomplicated extremely versatile and relatively fast GA aircraft.  What really stands out to me is the clarity of the gauges.

I would rate this one of their better aircraft, especially as it has GTN750 integration.

I flew in it for hours, it handled well, looked great and had no bugs.  It was a total a delight to fly.

but ... but   ... but

no study level, no 100 circuit breakers, no foul plugs?

great, I want it! 😊

60-130 fps. no CPU overclocking.

very nice.

I believe the SWS version is several months out at best. From a source on this forum, the SWS developers intend to do 2 versions. The first release will have an interior similar to the Carenado version. Later they will produce a version with the Honeywell Primus avionics in line with the NG and NGX versions. Working on a Carenado video now to see if the Vspeeds match up with the real world stuff.

I am weak haha!

Working great with TDS, I love the sounds...  I'm gonna be late for work gotttta gooooooo

Hey Ryan, do the HSI needles deflect correctly when on the GTN power up test page?

Edit: I also buckled under, got the plane and can now answer my own question.. "No"

I am recoding the HSI to work correctly with the TDS GTN Xi and will publish the fix when complete..

Why Carenado cannot do this correctly baffles me 😉

It does have a weather screen but it is not functional as far as I can see.  Not surprising as the weather api is not implemented yet.

I held off for as long as I could - 10 minutes!

Several MSFS Carenado aircraft have working weather radar so I would be surprised if this one didn't

For those of us who are away from their PC -  how much is it?

Yeah, I think I'll pass on this one. Got enough payware aircraft as it is. Waiting for the King Air 🙂
