How BIG is your MSFS?

Featured Replies

I can't believe it, but after the last update, my MSFS is 269GB!  Luckily, I have an M2 dedicated to MSFS (1 TB).  I have another M2 dedicated to P3d.  Best moves I ever made!

263GB as of today. On a dedicated 1TB M.2. Everything else is on another M.2 SSD

I have a 500GB Nvme dedicated to the sim, including the Community Folder. I have reached the limit after this update . Windows shows the drive in red, about 6GB spare out of 500GB.

That excludes whatever is installed on the C drive.

Holding out for some Black Friday deals so I can add another 500GB Nvme drive and transfer my Community folder to the new drive.

In the interim, I deleted some content from the Content Manager to claim back several GB - all the Xbox, Orbit, Pacifica, etc liveries from each aircraft, the DarkStar, everything related to Velocopter Top Gun stuff etc. Drive stills shows red in Windows tho.

About 350 GB in the main folder (some addons install there) and 250ish GB of Community addons outside of the main folder.

467gb,  and 147 gb in my mods linker folder.    But,  I think windows might include the virtual links so that 147gb MAY be included in the 467 and not additional depending on how windows calculates.

305 GB

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.
