I know you can't have any piece of information released without getting both positive or negative comments. But, I will say this. From a product management perspective within software development, those are good numbers in the eyes of microsoft. If it wasn't, they wouldn't have announced it. Nvidia on the other hand, 😏

10m, 8m or 9million, does the exact number down to decimals really matter? Let the man have his moment - he's earned it and the entire team at MS +Asobo +WT+ and all who have contributed, including us - the community- should be proud of where we stand today with our hobby, is what I think. 

 

If I had it to do all over again I might have taken up developing for this platform. A bit too old at my age, but what an opportunity for someone younger to make a bundle of money developing addons for the sim.

And how many % of those will invest in a pc and buy xplane? I guess Zero. But then again those lowlifes money is not good enough for you guys anyway. 

I've had gamepass for years, but I still purchased the premium deluxe edition. It brings me joy after a stressful day of work.

 

 

Why is it on Avsim, whenever there is something positive posted about MSFS, there are always one or two posters that have to try and rain on everyone's parade with their negative garbage?

I'm probably not helping w/ my sarcastic reply, but sometimes it's more fun than ignoring. Also, I was in a boring meeting and needed diversion.

That said, to force myself back on topic, I'm glad people so many people are, at the very least, experiencing flight sim. The more the merrier. It's really been a very positive experience for me these past 2+ years!

Perhaps we can now organize to negotiate for lower Avgas and Jet A fuel prices!  And group discounts on items such as navdata and other payware. LOL!  Perhaps even our own version of Windows, with advanced CPU/GPU optimization specifically for our flying.

I logged in yesterday and saw no more than half a dozen players. The most I have ever seen is maybe 40 players during a livestream.

Where were the other 10 million ?  By my estimates MSFS has maybe 200 players tops.

This is clearly fake news. We have been robbed.
