Best Business Jet

Featured Replies

I want to add a business jet to my hanger… what do you recommend? Anything approaching study level with good community support would be ideal.

  • The longitude is great but, lack of cabin is a problem for me. I know some laugh at this, but it really impacts immersion especially in a bizjet, you know you're just flying a cockpit around wher

Don't feel alone! I totally agree, lack of cabin and operable doors is a big thing to me on the priorities list. MS/Asobo adding SciFi Fantasy Dune and Halo DLC content but we can't get oper

  • The CJ4 is a beauty... often overlooked since the Longitude was overhauled with AAU1 and became not just flyable, but extremely good. The CJ4 is on par IMHO, and (again IMHO) has nicer hand flyin

Size wise, I think the Longitude is a better choice for what I’m after.

You will enjoy especially since the AA1 update - remember to get the mod in the Marketplace

but you need the top version of the sim

Are there any other must-have improvement mods for Longitutde to put on top of AA1 update one from Marketplace - those are just for avionics I think. I'm thinking along the lines of TBM improvement mod that adds additional functionalities or some texture mod that improves the interiors?

No, not really.

I use the "no windows tint" mod and a "cockpit texture improvement mod".

I like the Longitude window tint, it gives terrain/sky visuals more of a darker 3d depth/color touch in VR.

You really need to read the product descriptions. The mod in the marketplace is useless for 99% of users, it simply enables independent FMS.

Everything is otherwise in the base sim already.

The AAU1 update to the Longitude improved more than the avionics.  Work was done on the flight model and lights on the aircraft.  After using it extensively there's no further mods needed for this aircraft at this time (outside of the Windows Tint mod).  There are some things WT needs to address (approaches being included from default flight plan, AP going inactive around 12,000ft during decent).

No it enables the copilot's PFD to be  independent. Granted for most users that is purely cosmetic.

There is no display in this aircraft called a FMS.

As they say, 'To each his own'.🥴  This is one where I'm glad we have options.  For me without the mod at night in VR the default tint is too dark and obscures the out the window view.

You only need 1) the default Longitude, and 2) if you wish, the small mod that enables independent operation of the PFDs.

Nothing more is needed, and you have what I consider the best business jet currently available. The Honda Jet is a close second, the Cirrus Vision Jet still needs the the AAU1 upgrade.
