March 10, 20233 yr The CJ4 is a beauty... often overlooked since the Longitude was overhauled with AAU1 and became not just flyable, but extremely good. The CJ4 is on par IMHO, and (again IMHO) has nicer hand flying characteristics than the Longitude. March 10, 20233 yr Compared to previous sims I have used we are quite spoilt for choice with quality modern biz jets, depending on what you fancy all of these are great. Longitude (G5000) HondaJet (G3000) CJ4 (PL21) BBJ (If you fancy something really big) VisionJet (G3000 still awaiting AAU update). Just need a decent Long Range option now for my hangar (other than the BBJ). G Edited March 10, 20233 yr by Gazzareth Gary Davies aka "Gazzareth" Simming since 747 on the Acorn Electron
March 10, 20233 yr Best as in most in-depth? Right now is a tie between the HondaJet and the Longitude imo. Both use the new avionics, both have VNAV and A/T. If you already have Premium Deluxe you also already have the Longitude. The Hondajet is well worth the price. Oh I think it's called HJet on the marketplace hehe. The CJ4 which I almost prefer over those two is also very very advanced. I highly recommend it as well - and it's free hehe! The PMDG 737-700 BBJ or -800 BBJ2 is fine too...but kinda more airliner type flying.... I just don't fly my copies much. The only other more advanced bizjet is the HotStart Challenger in XP11/12. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
March 10, 20233 yr I prefer to fly the larger aircraft types so my vote would be for the BBJ/BBJ2 But if i need to get into some small airfield the CJ4 fits the bill. March 10, 20233 yr It's incredible that a default plane (Longitude) is one of the best ones you can 'get'...! I do own the Vision Jet and am waiting for the AAU1 update (the old G3000 is terrible) but I am not sure if I will fly the VJ often anymore... the Longitude is so great...! But they are totally different planes,of course, even though both are jets. The VJ is more like a GA. It's very similar to the TBH but with a better view outside. I like how fast the Longitude is, how rock solid and steady if flies (and drives on the ground) and you also have a few more things to do system wise, like when starting up. The VJ is really too easy to start etc. It's very similar to starting a car... Edited March 10, 20233 yr by tup61

I absolutely love the scratches you see (depending on where the light comes from) but the tint of the Lonigute is a bit too dark imho... Would be nice to have a mod that keeps the scratches but removes (or lightens) the dark tint.

I stayed away from it because I don't need yet another short range business jet. At this point I'm looking for something more like a Gulfstream or Global Express (full cabin modeled). If it can't get comfortably from the US to Nice France I'll pass. What we have coming out mostly now is aircraft that can barely make it from New York to Denver or Ibiza to Stockholm. 🥴 Edited March 10, 20233 yr by Dillon FS2020 Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 11 Home 32GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR

Cockspur C510 Mustang Add-Ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator | Flightsim.to The only thing of quality in it is the WT G1000, which isn't really fully functional in the aircraft. No Mach mode, no functioning keyboard, no FADEC annunciation. Other than that, switch logic is off, FADEC isn't modelled properly, FDE needs a lot of work, texturing is poor, and sounds are rubbish. It can be fun to fly (well before the HondaJet got AAU), but it's miles behind the likes of the defaults / HondaJet. G Gary Davies aka "Gazzareth" Simming since 747 on the Acorn Electron

After using it extensively there's no further mods needed for this aircraft at this time (outside of the Windows Tint mod). There are some things WT needs to address (approaches being included from default flight plan, AP going inactive around 12,000ft during decent). Does the real Longitude come with window tint on the cockpit windows or is this something Asobo did on its own? Eric

I thought you linked this one first: https://flightsim.to/file/24803/no-tint-mod-for-longitude This one leaves all scratches etc. visible, the one above removes everything, so I am told.
