I hated that panel in my father's Mercedes W124 back in the eighties, but now it brings back the memories...

Now you surely want one, with burl wood dashboard and authentic real-wheel drive. And a Piston Duke too! I wonder if it will ever releases...

Because maintenance. Annuals were never under $20k and that was if something wasn't broken... which was fairly often.

I wonder how that magnesium tail is doing.

Fine... if it hasn't fallen off or banged into a hangar door 🙂

If I recall, it used to hold a lot of water.

Loving the looks of the new EFB - level of detail is reminding me if the X-Plane Hotstart TBM-900 and that's high praise indeed.

The news of a sophisticated, open source KLN-90 is fantastic as well, be great to see devs adopt this as an option in older planes (love to see this replacing the limited GPS-100 in the JF Arrow/Warrior for example)

That would be nice indeed!

I know a lot of virtual pilots praising KLN90B, because there is a lot of romantism in flying old school, and totally get it! But back in days when I was flying single pilot IFR equipped with KLN89B  it was major pain in a butt! Transitioning to GNS430 was like coming from a stone age to 20th century   LOL
