May 19, 20233 yr @Aamir Thank you, thank you and thank you! 5800X3D. 32 GB RAM. 1TB SATA SSD. 3TB HDD. RX 9070XT.
May 19, 20233 yr Hopefully the people that constantly badger for updates can appreciate the work going into this aircraft. Can't wait for the update to appear and what other surprises may be in store.
May 19, 20233 yr What a fantastic and informative update. And the IAE variant is in beta. Woo! Thanks @Aamir ! May 19, 20233 yr I have a feeling it's going to be a hot summer 🙂 Very good update, Aamir. Thank you. AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D, MSI RTX 5090, 64GB RAM 6000MHz DDR5, Tuf Gaming X870Plus, 1200W PSU English is not my first language.
May 20, 20233 yr Will the engine sounds be more audible in the flight deck? I'm under the impression this bus can be a big noisy for this. I even recently heard the roar of a CFM over ATC during climb on an A320. - Chris Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX | Intel Core i9 13900KF | Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB | 64GB DDR5 SDRAM | Corsair H100i Elite 240mm Liquid Cooling | 1TB & 2TB Samsung Gen 4 SSD | 1000 Watt Gold PSU | Windows 11 Pro | Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke | Thrustmaster TCA Captain X Airbus | Asus ROG 38" 4k IPS Monitor (PG38UQ) Asus Maximus VII Hero motherboard | Intel i7 4790k CPU | MSI GTX 970 4 GB video card | Corsair DDR3 2133 32GB SDRAM | Corsair H50 water cooler | Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD (2) | EVGA 1000 watt PSU - Retired
May 20, 20233 yr Amazing update! What surprised me most was that the dev team managed to find workarounds for the MSFS improper tire friction simulation. I hope Asobo fixes the root problem sooner than later, but it'll be great to land and take off without unrealistic forces pushing me about. @Aamir, I know you would rather not, but a "donate coffee to the team" donation button would be cool. This is a lot for a free update. Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory. The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire. To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune. There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you. It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.
May 20, 20233 yr Hopefully the EFB video is real speed. The slight lack of responsiveness has been something that has (not annoyed) maybe slightly frustrated me. Nice to see it's been jumped up a bit. Regards, Max (YSSY) i7-12700K | Corsair Vengeance LPX 64GB 3600MHz DDR4 | Gigabyte RTX4090 24Gb | Gigabyte Z690 AORUS ELITE DDR4 | Corsair HX1200 PSU

I know a real world Airbus pilot has mentioned how amazing the sounds are, and I agree. The current sounds are great, but we really don't hear engines from the cockpit, and I believe you can pretty loudly during takeoff and early climb. - Chris Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX | Intel Core i9 13900KF | Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB | 64GB DDR5 SDRAM | Corsair H100i Elite 240mm Liquid Cooling | 1TB & 2TB Samsung Gen 4 SSD | 1000 Watt Gold PSU | Windows 11 Pro | Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke | Thrustmaster TCA Captain X Airbus | Asus ROG 38" 4k IPS Monitor (PG38UQ) Asus Maximus VII Hero motherboard | Intel i7 4790k CPU | MSI GTX 970 4 GB video card | Corsair DDR3 2133 32GB SDRAM | Corsair H50 water cooler | Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD (2) | EVGA 1000 watt PSU - Retired

This is a lot for a free update Agreed, even though he communicated the IAE engine would be a free update, I think is fair if they charge for it, is a lot of work and has to be a good ROI to keep the business going. If that was FSL now, they wouldn't be shy to charge customers 200€ for this update 😃 AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 64GB DDR5 6000MHZ RAM, RX7900XT, FreeSync 165hz 1440p display
May 20, 20233 yr Regarding the new x-wind flight dynamics & fbw fine tuning and after reading the extensive description and watching the videos I wonder if the new FBW compensations used to cope with the rolling moments due to rudder input for uncrabing on landing or during a x-wind takeoff run as well as other fine tunning aspects of the implemented FBW logic are based on the RW modes or specific to the Fenix under MFS and required due to the limitations imposed by the MFS flight dynamics and overall physics model?
