They have all been patched fairly recently. I've reinstalled one or two and am quite enjoying them.

They have. 

As a previous poster already said, Carenado has been going through and patching pretty much all of their "branded" releases (not the stuff sold under the "Famous flyers" label), which has resulted in a bunch of bug fixes and improvements being made to those airplanes. 

 

There's still a few bugs here and there, but they're pretty minor for the most part, and I'll give Carenado credit for apparently realizing that the "release product, release one patch, never speak of it again" business model they'd used in the past needed to go away.

The Mooney was patched today. Maybe it's just me but it's all over the place when accelerating on the runway and taking off? Who knows what they've done but I wish that they hadn't done it!

No problems here, I'm loving it. Only problem I found is that the GTN config doesn't stick, I have to change it on the tablet every time I use the aircraft because it always defaults to the GNS530. It wasn't like this before.

It's the same as it was on release at least for the flight model.  Just have to use light rudder input.

Probably because you used a Bert Pieke file that controlled what shows up on initial load - and it got overwritten by this update.

Hi, I cannot give you the specifics, since I start with the TDS GTNXi.. but here is how I did it:

1. Start up the flight and use the tablet to get your avionics in place

2. Save the flight and give it some name

3. Locate the saved flt file and examine it with a text editor

4. Copy the GPS lines to the runway.flt file and start up the plane on the runway as a test.

As an example, here is what I used for the PC12:

The notes do say they adjusted p factor on the takeoff roll.

It worked, thanks. I did it in both the runway.flt and apron.flt, otherwise it wouldn't work when I started cold and dark.

I also may have found a bug. The external power is not working for me (with or without the modifications). I enable it on the tablet and it shows up connected to the plane but there is no sound from it and it seems to do nothing. I tried turning on the avionics with it connected but nothing happens. Can you (or anyone else) confirm if it works for you?

"Would you actually use an ILS on a aircraft such as this?" Well I for one just enjoy manually flying the ILS - I am now using the Bellanca as my 'go to' airplane to practice ILS approaches - different horses for different courses - I practice flying manually flying the ILS in mostly the C414 & I try on most other aircraft I have in my hangar - I regard manually flying an ILS approach as a great skill & achieve a degree of satisfaction when the needles are crossed in the centre @ 300' & I haven't gone out more than one dot out of tollerance during the entire approach (which used to be the pass standard for an ILS endorsement on an instrument rating

As for using the HSI I don't particularly like flying them & I have been flying for a very long time & prefer the old ILS
