C182RG Coming

Featured Replies

Saw on FB that Carenado is doing a 182 RG.  I would prefer a 210 myself but I think it'll be a fun little plane.  I'm sure it will have the usual avions options.

We had this plane at our flying club. The landing gear always impressed me as “flimsy” …. but they do the job. Unfortunately, this plane fell to the wrath of a landing bounce/ prop strike!

I've never flown a 82RG but I do recall the virtual one in FS4 or maybe FS5.0?

Yes, same memory of the landing gear folding back! That would be FS5.0/5.1 for me. Remember it looking so cool!

'bout time.   An RG Cessna has been conspicuously absent from the sim.

It'll have Carenado's stunning models,  and hopefully it will receive the Black Square treatment.

Hoping it is better than the Carenado C 182 fixed gear, which I never fly.

It appears to come with a steam gauge cockpit which would be a nice change 🙂

Carenado is bringing their entire fleet to MSFS. Just a matter of time according to the developer. I'm sure we have all had a past favourite from the dozens they have produced including a number of light jets.

Love this plane.

We know it won't be...that's how Carenado gets us. Every. Single. Time. But you know what, I don't care, we know by now what we're getting into with Carenado. I do wish it was a C210 or a C404, or the F406 though. Hopefully some generous modder in the community can bring these up to a higher standard.

I’m sure they’ll get around to the 210 eventually, but it’s a long wait for me too. My fave high-wing in FSX and XP10/11.

Yeah the 210 is just a great all around plane.  Relatively speedy with excellent visibility.

That's good to read. I'm waiting for the C-185 which will be an instant buy for me.
Looking at the previews of the C-182RG, it surely looks awesome but I'll pass on this one.

The Apache and Navajo were favourites of mine.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.
