That will be mine. Their Cutlass was my GoTo-plane once in FSX/P3D.

Kind regards, Michael

Oh, looking at those VC shots, the 185 can't be far away. 😁

Another Carenado in my hanger….sigh?

They always seem to release them around payday and it’s so tempting….🙃

Hangar, a hanger is a piece of wood with a hook to hang clothes. 😉

Look, I’m posting on an iPhone, I consider myself lucky it didn’t decide to insert ‘trouser press’!

in RL I just loved the C182RG - to me one of the best Cessna products of all time - so much more nicely balanced than the standard C182 - great speed & landing characteristics - a Dr friend of mine had one & was great for touring - i bough the Turbo C182 when it came out & flew it all the way around Australia coastal - took about 50 odd hours in total & was fun except for the FS2020 period when slight turblance would rip the bloody wings off!!

just looking @ the above link & pictures - it has an old steam radio VOR indicator - but no ILS on it -would have been just perfect with dual ILS - now not sure it will make in into my hangar - far prefer the old ILS indicators so much easier to interpret & read - anyhow a bit let down

That surprises me.  Would you actually use an ILS on a aircraft such as this?  With its slow speed and probably turning on to a short final, I wouldn't have thought you would need it.
I have never used ILS in an aircrfat such as this in the sim, just navigating to the airport and being aware of the runway direction, then just pick it up visually, not lining-up 20 miles out, but maybe a real GA pilot could shed some light on it.

There may be hope yet though.  Carenado now include configuration pads in all of their aircraft to swap some of the instruments around, as a minimum for the Garmin units.

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

The 182 looks so much more aerodynamic with the gear retracted,    makes me want to remove the wings and put them below the cockpit just to see what it would look like.  😄

The ILS is on the HSI.  The VOR2 indicator has no ILS on it..

What do you mean by ILS indicator? Screenshot shows standard HSI and CDI which are both been around for 30+ years. The alternative would be having gyro heading indicator and two CDIs.

Out of interest have Carenado improved their quality now - I know they posted a while ago that they were going over past MSFS projects to patch/improve them ???

From my perspective, yes.  Don't expect A2A as that's not their market (and never has been).  To me their singles have decent sounds, reasonable flight model, and gorgeous visuals as always.  Also important to me is GTNxi integration so I can shoot rnav approaches at my local GA fields.

Some of their local legends aren't as nice...so when I say Carenado, I mean all of their own products - not necessarily the ones they did as contracts for Microsoft (like the D17S and V35).
