June 16, 20232 yr Great candidate for $200 hamburger/pancake runs. With time to catch up on life's events while enroute. Just remember to lower the gear on approach. LOL! In that regard it's not your father's Oldsmobile...... Now if the GTN would only have fuel prices and menu prices...... June 16, 20232 yr I'm guessing this is a step up in quality from the deeply disappointing C182 from release day ?

Perhaps for better observation than low wing aircraft. I will however stick with the 337 for that. Already paid for and in my hangar; same or slightly better observation; can go slow for observations, much faster when getting there and back; two-engine security; similar avionics choices but also with wx radar. June 16, 20232 yr Author I basically bought mine for nostalgic reasons....and it flies pretty nicely. I was able to land in a 10 kt direct crosswind with proper control input. I haven't pulled the poh yet for numbers. But I love the detail in the cockpit. It makes me feel like I'm there. Sounds are reasonable and I can't wait to try in VR. Their products will never be A2A but that's not their intent. Also I'd be shocked if A2A released their Comanche at this price point. The C182RG is a great plane for small airport to airport hops, vno around 141 kias so at 75% power you'll probably do 150 ktas at 8000 or so. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
