Yeah the 210 is just a great all around plane.  Relatively speedy with excellent visibility.

Fully agree.  For the time being my relatively speedy plane with scenery appreciating visibility is the 337.  Oh! Retractable gear as well as two engine security.

The Apache and Navajo were favourites of mine.

A CFI friend of mine flew an Apache, and he used to offer me free rides on it back and forth from Hollywood Florida to the Bahamas. I was always afraid to get in that word not allowed aircraft, knowing that if one of the engines quit while taking off from KHWO, we were going to let the running engine fly us to the scene of the crash. It would not climb on one engine, in fact, we would be lucky to maintain altitude.

I've never flown a 82RG but I do recall the virtual one in FS4 or maybe FS5.0?

For P3D, I used the similarly styled C172RG Cutlass (that's the one SEVEN two) from Alabeo.

Hardware: i7-8700k, GTX 1070-ti, 32GB ram, NVMe/SSD drives with lots of free space.
Software: latest Windows 10 Pro, P3Dv4.5+, FSX Steam, and lots of addons (100+ mostly Orbx stuff).

I seem to get involuntary facial spasms every time I read about a new aircraft I've always wanted in the sim, but then see Carenado's name attached to it.

We had this plane at our flying club. The landing gear always impressed me as “flimsy” …. but they do the job. Unfortunately, this plane fell to the wrath of a landing bounce/ prop strike!

An inevitable flying club fate

Hi Bob!

While most light twins are often underpowered there is way to do proper preflight to figure out accelerated to stop distance and one engine performance. Certainly one engine performance suck, but you still can hang on it for a while. I personally think twins are best to fly over water! To have an extra engine is better than take swim lol

When I did my multi I was always worry about mountains and climb gradient, but in Florida I think the only thing to worry is density altitude ( and may be crocodiles lol)

I was fortunate enough to completely shut down and restart my engine during my training and checkride (pa44). Yes, it’s a little struggle  but it gets you  to emergency field lol

here is my old vid. Check 4:06 for engine shut down and restart

We calculated the climb on this particular Apache with one engine out, and there were some tall condos on the Hollywood coast, and we probably would not have been able to clear the condos by the time we reached them, around 5 miles away.

If they are gradually bringing the former fleet over then my real hope is the emb 110 which I though was one of the best overall carenado aircraft.
