June 29, 20232 yr Flying Iron has raised the bar once more with their Me-109G, and have an FW-190 in development, along with an undisclosed 4-engine heavy ( hopefully that's still being done ). They really have cornered the warbird market in MSFS, so which ones would you like to see added to their list ? My choices are: 1) Grumman Avenger 2) Hawker Hurricane 3) Junkers Ju-88 night fighter 4) Consolidated PB4Y Privateer 5) Kawanishi H6K 'Mavis' I know that some of these are a bit niche, and wouldn't sell enough to recoup the development costs. However, if I won the lottery and could fund a project with Flying Iron, these would be my first 5 choices. 😉 Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting. https://rationalwiki.org
June 29, 20232 yr I already have the warbirds I would want: 1. F4U Corsair 2. Spitfire 3. P51 I guess the Red Baron's WWI bird would be nice at this point but that's about it.🙃 Edited June 29, 20232 yr by Dillon FS2020 Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 11 Home 32GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR
June 29, 20232 yr Sorry to be the bad boy Paul, adding a new entry: what about a nice P-47 ? 1) Grumman Avenger There was a TBF in the sim long ago, wasn't it a MAAM aircraft in FS9 ? Anyway my choice if we can have a moving aircraft carrier 2) Hawker Hurricane Second best 3) Junkers Ju-88 night fighter Nope 4) Consolidated PB4Y Privateer A nice aircraft but honestly patrolling the Coral Sea at 175 mph can rapidly become a bore 😏. 5) Kawanishi H6K 'Mavis' Nope Dominique Simming since 1981 - [email protected] GHz with 16 GB of RAM and a 1080 with 8 GB VRAM running a 27" @ 2560*1440 - Windows 10 - Warthog HOTAS - MFG pedals - MSFS Standard version with Steam

June 29, 20232 yr I wouldn't mind a nice twin for a change, such as a North American Mitchell, Douglas Havoc/Boston, or Martin Marauder. Or a British twin such as the Bristol Beaufort. I believe someone is already doing a Mosquito. The Wellington could be in there as well. Just to add to the list... If not the Privateer, then at least its brother, the Liberator. It seems to be overlooked a lot compared to the numbers built. Edited June 29, 20232 yr by bobcat999 Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. You can add all the entries you wish, Dominique - that's what the thread is for 😉. I wouldn't mind betting the Jug is on Flying Iron's radar anyway. If so, I hope it's a 'razorback' version. Yes, there was an Avenger for FS9 from MAAM - made by Jan Visser if I remember correctly. There was also a rather buggy one for FSX by Vertigo ( now defunct, I believe ). 26 minutes ago, bobcat999 said: I wouldn't mind a nice twin for a change, such as a North American Mitchell, Douglas Havoc/Boston, or Martin Marauder. Yes to all the above, though I'd like to see the bomber version of the Mosquito, rather than the solid nosed fighter bomber. The FB's flat windscreen looks very un-aeroplane- like to me. June 29, 20232 yr Might they ever make a civilian aircraft? I'm sure it would be excellent if they did. 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2 - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base
June 29, 20232 yr Looking post-ww2 but in the same philosophy than the P-47, a big heap of metal with a monstruous engine at the tip, I wouldn’t mind a Douglas A-1 Skyraider . @Milviz spoke of one, showed us a couple of shots but it seems that they have abandoned the project now. June 29, 20232 yr I definitely would love a P-47 'Jug' as well. Also agree that a Skyraider would be cool. And, I also would like to see a B-25 Mitchell.
