Indeed in the marketing biz, the NON-buying customer's attitude can be said to carry more weight, because THOSE people are the ones the developers need to understand in order to possibly convert them.

And certainly the only negativity being projected is by you, with your off topic snark and insistence on cheerleading every addon.

Pretty sure you’re the one that went on with the snarky and arrogant remarks lol trying to show off how close he is to the beach etc…. You’re the one that was heated about the pricing and some of us are just trying to tell you the solution is simple.
 

Also, yes I will support devs who make good add ons not sure what you’re trying to get at. Seriously for someone who lives close to the beach you’re really uptight.

The Fokker allways had a special place in my flightsim heart, since it was one of the first planes I flew in a desktop flightsimulator.

I think the guys who are flightsimming longtime remember the Project Fokker quite well! And then with FSNavigator. Good old times!

I have nothing to add to this thread except well done to Just Flight and I hope this encourages them to bring the BAC 1-11 and VC10 to MSFS.

Strangely, I've never had the urge to drink cocktails here.....

I have been really excited and waiting for this plane. But, no matter if the level is good enough for study, I am not going to pay $70 for it. 

On the other hand, over 2 years after release (March 2021), Just Flight has people now testing new flight models for their Arrows to make them fly more reasonably. 

This may have been addressed previously, but has JF indicated whether this model will be a free upgrade when MSFS2024 is released?  $70 is a lot.  And it seems that MSFS2024 will require a lot of re-working flight model-wise for MSFS2020 aircraft.  At least in this price category.  They have not yet updated the Arrow for XP12.

According to Asobo, "virtually all" addons should carry forward without alteration, so for well developed addons like JFs, there should be no cause for an additional license fee.

From Asobo's FS Expo preso, it seems like the new flight dynamics are going to be an optional extension to the current one, and devs will be free to take advantage of it or not.

I find mod pricing a weirdly fascinating subject. 

It looks like it should justify a fancy pants-level price, but the subject matter itself is whim-level to the large majority of potential buyers. 

70 Big Ones might be piffling to some, but that amount of money buys many more whims elsewhere. 

There's no way I'd lay out that much unless I was expecting a great deal of usage. And I don't expect that. 

It would make for weird optics if this was less than their other top tier, and more iconic, products, but business for it would be far better I'll bet. But I guess they want to keep a price point and will take the according hit this time around.

One things for sure.....Popcorn sales have skyrocketed these past couple of days.  

Also, those noting the PMDG 737-600 $35 Price Tag - just remember, they got us all "hook, line and sinker" by releasing the -700 first for $70.00USD.  Great business decision, hats off to them.  RR is an entrepreneur and that was pretty classy.  Hats off.

I know full well that JF are watching this thread and all I'll say to them is - Keep building amazing products, charge what you need to in order to get the returns required to keep your business operating.  Keep the noise out and do you. 

Can't wait for release, I'd buy it for $90 - just sayin'

Just checked again and still waiting for Hawk, Vulcan, Turbo Arrow, and BAe 146...

The sad part is JF don't even do this work themselves - it's all subbed out to Thranda...

For MSFS2024 none of the current 2020 Just Flight planes will work unless the installers are updated because of the DRM. So here's hoping. It would be nice to have a statement from JF in this regard.
