August 5, 20232 yr It's funny how all of a sudden there is a "chain yank" message about a Robert Young mod for this aircraft without a link or any guidance on how to obtain it. Fishy!!!! "Chain Yank" means when someone is yanking your chain.........in this case meaning that someone throws this info out there to see everyone make a big deal and go crazy............stirring the pot without guidance as to where to find this mod. Everyone knows these aircraft need love from someone like Rob Young so the notion that he has some mysterious updates out there would drive people to go crazy trying to find them. Why not just share the location of the files or at least, how to go find them, instead of stirring the beehive. That's my point!!!! Sincerely, Dennis D. August 5, 20232 yr Downloaded and installed and still very disappointed with all of them... They all have a tendency to pitch down suddenly for no reason at all, flying along straight and level and boom, all of a sudden an small, violent pitch down and I just cannot correct it. Looking at You Tube videos others do not seem to be suffering the same fate so not sure what's causing it...they spend most of the time in my hangar due to this, not other aircraft do it. Dave

What is so fishy about that?

Dave yeah ... I do not have that issue either, so if it is a bug (rather than a conflict with some other mod) which it could be, it is a very specific bug that only effects a few people. August 6, 20232 yr You don´t need any mods for the JF Arrows to be good. Using Roberts mod might make them better, but I find them nice as they are. I have also the Comanche and agree that it is by far the best GA aircraft around right now, but that does not mean that the JF Arrows doesn't have a place in my Hangar anymore. Remember that the JF Arrows where the first high end addons for MSFS, developed by JF at a time where only a few other Dev's dared to. JF has constantly updated and enhanced their Aircraft and delivers great support. Just because A2A has released something newer and more indpeth, does not make it fair to devaluare JF's achievments with the Arrows. System: i7-10700K, 32GB RAM, RTX4070 12GB, 1 x 1TB SSD, 2 x 2TB SSD, 1x 2TB HDD, Win10 64bit Home, Meta Quest 3
August 6, 20232 yr The JF Arrow series are great and are still fun to fly. The Robert Young "mod" has tweaked some of the dynamics so they handle better on the ground and in the air. Also, with the turbo....you don't want to jab on the throttle so quickly. Give that old engine time to spool up. Even without his mod they are nice to fly. I updated them and flew several of them for a hours. Still, I will put the mod back in place. Email Robert Young and he'll send you a link etc. I swear. Some of you need to go outside for a bit and chill. 7800+4090+64ram Just Flight RJ, 146 and F28, Piper Arrows ---A2A Aerostar and Comanche---Black Square Starship, Duke(s), TBM, Bonanza/BaronV2, KingAir---FSReborn FSR500---COWS Da42---FX P180, HJet & VJet---FlySimWare Chancellor and LearJet---FlightSimStudio EMB175 &P2006T---Fenix 320---PMDG DC6, 737(700+900), 777---C22J---Milviz Cessna 310 & Porter---SimWorksStudios Kodiak, PC12, Zenith & RV14---BigRadials Goose---IndiaFoxEcho MB3339+F35.

I would like to give them a try. When you say email RY, do you mean PM him in this forum? I don't have an email address for him. A few thoughts. Is there a reason why there isn't a link given out on the forum here? And will this be part of an official upgrade through Just Flight eventually? Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). In fairness to JF, A2A have basically killed ALL piston singles for me (and most of the twins, too).
