It’s beautiful, but these street lights turn on just as late as the default ones.  In the evening before sunset, cities look like after the apocalypse.  I haven't found anywhere how to change this.  Purchased packages of lights for various cities look beautiful at night but not in the evening.

Thank you ! Can you tell me what lights you use? Also screenshots of settings. Particularly interesting is the time setting for turning the lights on and off. Never seen this in 2020

guys, this has been explained many times now, several pages ago in this very thread:

you are going to replace whatever was in those 3 hexadecimal addresses, what was there before you replace with those in the video, or preferably for slightly better blues with these: 

(0,00508 , 0,00318 , 0,0)

I am confused. This is not the same as the ARPC link. So if I did it by changing the HEX code, do I need the ARPC and Node.js tool. ? I am currently stuck in this section. 

1. Move FlightSimulator.exe from your MSFS installation to your Desktop. (MS store users may have to take ownership of the folder containing the .exe and boot in Safe Mode to do so)
2. Download the latest version of node.js LTS from here.
3. Open Powershell and cd to the extracted arpc-injector folder (e.g. cd desktop/arpc-injector-main).
4. Run node app.js.
5. Follow the prompts listed below.

no! either or. I found the youtube approach easier. before you hex-edit the Flightsimulator.exe, you have to create an unencrypted version of this file (if you have the store version) by following these easy steps, (github link below). once you have exported/saved that now un-encrypted Flightsimulator.exe, you copy it into the Xbox directory, after you have first renamed the original encrypted Flightsimulator.exe in c:\Xbox directory to some thing else, like "_Flightsimulator.exe" or some such, so you will always have a backup, just in case. You can't simply move the original encrypted Flightsimulator.EXE somewhere else without more complex steps (taking ownership of the file, not sure if that is easily possible) first, so I renamed it because that is easier than playing with file privileges.

@turbomax Okay, so If I modified with the ones from the video. I have to go back and replace the values I added previously for the ones that MortThe2nd created? If so these values are in sequential order based on the video? 0,00508 , 0,00318 , 0,0

you can use the MortThe2nd values on the first go,  you don't have to first use the youtube parameters. but if you did use the values from the video already, you can repeat the procedure simply again on the unprotected, still unmodified EXE. that video only helps to find the 3 original sky colour values.

yes, you repeat the SEARCH 3 times for these 3 numbers:

0.00065
0.001881
0.000085

and replace them with:

0.00508

0.00318

0.0

you can enter the alternate values right from the beginning, which I recommend because the original youtube values have a slightly more green tint, the newer ones are slightly more blue. but both look way better than without this mod. if you can't find the 3 locations in the hex editor, make sure to use the correct decimal character (, or .) depending on your Windows system settings (control panel, country, number & curreny settings).

contrary to what the youtube video says, I found the 3 values in 2 separate locations and simply replaced them both, which seems to work just fine.
